Just hold me close & don’t let me go,
You don’t have to say a word—your presence is enough,
Tonight I just need a healing touch—a shoulder to cry on.
That isn’t too much,
What I’m asking for,
Just hold me close & don’t let me go,
No need for words,
You can show me how much you care,
By lying beside me without a care.
No need for movement,
Just a gentle embrace,
Tonight I’m so fragile,
I feel I’m going to break,
So please just hold me close & don’t let me go,
