2006-02-05 grushaj: Interesting style, and the spelling of "Why" to bring extra meaning to your work was a pretty decent idea. In a body that faces the hate of peers
Eyes dashing to and fro
Snickers and scoffs
Guffaws and giggles
I walk through the halls
‘She’s so weird’ I can hear them say
So what if I’m weird?
At least I care to show who I am
I don’t try to be somebody else
Hoping that someone will come by
Like me for who I am
Not who I appear to be
When that person comes
I’ll be ready
To spill my thoughts to them
For they will listen
They’ll give me advice
Help me through it all
Maybe they will be my new best friend
Yes I am judged
Called a freak or something else
Derogatory names thrown my way
I brush them into the trash
Attempting to ignore their comments
But they are branded onto me
In me they will stay
Even in death they will haunt me
Torturing me for all eternity
All I ask is
Why?
