You label me,
You see me as what I’m not.
But do you really see me?
Or do you look right through me?


I try to be as you wish me to be,
But often times,
That’s just not enough.
When can I be me?


You’re a moron you say,

Has anyone ever told you that some times,
People become what you label them?


Day and night,
I struggle to stay in control,
Pain wracks my body and soul
As I am ripped in two.


You call me an angry child.
But yet,
You’re the one yelling at the top of your lungs,
Making me feel so small.


Some days I just want to beat you senseless with a bat,
Others, I just want you to go away and leave me be.
Is that so much to ask,
To have some time alone to collect my mind?

IS JUST BEING ME NOT ENOUGH?
