This one I just wrote today, reminiscing about how there are those wonderful sweet moments of life, and then the rest is so hard to get through that you spend every waking moment wishing either for death to take you or for more of those wonderful moments. Friendship, laughter, love... all of it is worth braving the hard times for, I think. I have trouble sometimes. I don't think that everyone feels the way that I do about life... not everyone has to go through times exactly like what I've been braving the past few months (luckies.) but I was thinking today, how the ending of a long day can be compared to the yearning for those memories to last forever and come to take away the pain- but would they be so gratifying if they did last forever?. That's what this is about.

an ember, an ember
of sunlight remaining
a memory, a memory
of days quickly passing
happiness, happiness
everlasting.
