Love
You cruel demon
You've dealt me a blow
I can not bear

Religion
The ultimate test
Seems I never knew
What I thought I knew best

Lover
Can our love last?
Canons left and right
While our pillars stand fast

Tests
All around me
If I fight
Will I be abandoned?

God
I constantly search
Without the one I love
I feel I've lost your touch

Feelings
So contradicting
I wish I could silence
The 'me's I've come to cling

Days
Keep passing
But please
Stop for me to think

2006-12-03 La Divina: This is a beautiful free verse. I especially like the part: "God/ I constantly search". It feels like a sort of prayer to many different things.
