Intolerably hungry, Neva returned to the kitchen. "So, what's up with Krista?" Father asked. Neva widened her eyes- "Oh my God, how she exaggerates everything! She's trying to make some kind of a cursed martyr out of her, and those neverending questions: "Why me?" "What should I do now?". Why, why, why... and she doesn't even try to answer them though the answer is quite trivial..." Her father smiled knowingly, "Well well, you haven't seen tougher teenager cases. Besides, you sound like one now." Neva spurted. Her father was right, all the neverending exaggerations. Guess they can be detected only with the help of others. Why is the mind built like that? A stupid question. "Hey, I understood it without the help of others" was a sudden thought... But Krista should be thinking the same about her problems right now... Neva stopped eating her milk soup. "Three minutes, it's a record for that big and hot bowl!" Her father said. It was so out-of-topic that Neva laughed. Her eyes moved to the window. When he saw the look of her eyes, father looked, too. In the neighbor house- Lea's house- there were shapes in police uniforms.

Explaining nothing, Neva teleported away to the bathroom of Lea's house. A second later in her house father yelled: "Neva, stay here!"

The Fairy flushed the toilet and walked out of the bathroom as if she should have been there. All Lea's family looked back at her as if she was a ghost, but Neva acted that she thought the policemen, who were looking at her as like at a just found treasure chest, were the ghosts. She started thinking why she had come. Probably because she wanted to be where there is some action. "Aha, I told you were hiding someone!" Shouted a policeman. Neva heard Lea mumble "You didn't." Then the mighty monologue of the policeman continued: "La Nisa, the leader of the terrorist group "La Nisa"! Come with us!" Then, before she could understand what's happening, Neva was locked in handcuffs and taken out of the house. On her way she could hear Lea say her thoughts aloud- "What the hell?"

Looking at his daughter being driven away in the police car, father wished he had told something to her earlier.

Neva opened her eyes. At first it seemed to her she'd somehow turned blind. The girl tried to sit up, realising a bit too late that she wasn't blind, she was simply in a very dark room on the background of which there were some even darker silouettes. Neva hit ther head on one of these bars and fell back, waiting for the bruise to heal and her eyes to get used to the dark. Neva found out she was in something like a man- size box, and it's lid was iron bars. "To get a bruise on," Neva thought ironically. She didn't remember getting there, all she remembered was that she had still wondered if she could risk using magic while stepping in the so- thought mortal police car. Then some had put a quick, very strong and unawaited sleeping spell on her. She didn't understand why she hadn't thought of this earlier. Neva tried to make the poles vanish. Fear from nowhere took her, besides- the bars were still there. Neva realised they somehow absorbed all her tries to use magic. Even myths din't say anything about it. It was naturally known and written everywhere that: "It's impossible to absorb any other fairie's powers or do any other damage to the natural use of their magic." But here they were- the bars that Neva had hit her head against and due to which her powers were now permanently flowing away like a slow current because of the bruise. It was well thought of. Almost everyone would hit their head against them in the dark, getting at least a little bruise. And getting the authomatical healing magic to stop was impossible. Neva felt her forehead. It was quite a big bruise. And it meant her powers would be gone in a day or so. She had a day to sleep and think about getting out of here. Once she'd been put here, the "evil" ones wouldn't be so stupid to come and visit her...

Krista sat at her desk and was drawing. She was again thinking about situations never to come. What would she do if she had to heal a bruise as fast as possible?

Neva spat in her hands and rubbed the bruise. It wasn't much, but the flowaway of magic slowed and the bruise would heal in a couple of hours... The fairy carefully moved her head to the poles. Like she had awaited, her head wasn't small enough to pass through the poles. That meant Neva shouldn't see what's happening outside. She yelled. No voice reflected. The fairy put her hand out of her box and tried to touch something. Nothing. Just air. She knocked at all the sides and floor of the box. It was wood. The best material for doing magic on- someone was laughing at her unability to use it. Suddenly she heard a knock from under her. So there was someone else besides her in this room, which meant the boxes were being put on top of another. They couldn't talk, Neva was sure that the fairy under her wouldn't hear.

Neva turned around and started scrubbing the wood. It was soon obvious that there was no use for it. Neva searched her hair. All the clips were gone. She didn't have her jacket, all the zippers were gone, too... Even from her trousers! There was nothing harder than wood.

Neva turned to another plan. She thew herself at the side of the box, trying to turn it around. It turned bars-down and fell, Neva could only get a little glimpse of water when the box fell in. It sank a little, but, due to Neva's desperate try to keep it horizontal, the air inside remained. The box slowly surfaced. The fairy watched how the bottom of the channel passed and she drifted in a river. A big river because she couldn't see its bottom anymore. now the only hope left was that a fisherman or someone else would take her out out of curiousity...
