About life and the some of its characteristics

The time advances five minutes back to the point it was, pointers are running backwards. Déjà vu. Same people will pass by again and again with the same numb looks. Where is everyone running? The endless lack of time; must carry on. And yet behind each and every corner, in an every dim alley and with all those lonely moments the paralyzing eyeless emptiness may wipe out another soulless biological machine.

The irrational people who call themselves the sharpest peak of the evolution have contest in digging the mass grave where to finally throw those millions and millions who sold their humanity for the holy meaning of life; money. The candle of mankind is being burned from both ends while the flames are licking and breeding the cleansing and vain fire that inflames all. The fire is not for real but ideas of mind's most vast ocean that dried up.

The mankind will choke to its own omnipotence unless discover a way to pause history. My own history looks at me in the other end of the crosswalk. It grins at me and disappears. Behind my back stands the future that reaches and passes me by watching its schedule with haste. I stand alone in the middle of the crosswalk as the time stops. The entire genius and vanity of the being crystallizes into one small buzzing nuisance - a fly - that lands on my coat. I slap it and it drops dead. Yuck! I can't stand their filth.

Time cracks to continue again and the traffic lights turn to green. Thousands of corporeal machines accelerate fulfilling the meaning of their being and rush like the antimatter towards the light. I stand in the middle of the crosswalk and understand the knowledge. And by accident I discover the meaning of life; the reason for the absurd being. I smile and glance at my watch. It shows the same time as ten minutes ago but today is tomorrow.

And then those thousands and thousands of vane stoned-by-life drivers are plunging into my direction. They don't see anything but an error in their way. I stand in the middle of the crosswalk. I stand on top of nothing. My time has expired as I open my eyes. I see the moving pointers. They're indicating time is five minutes less than it was.

2005-06-21 Font: I really like this! Complex yet wonderful!

2005-06-22 Jotunheim: Whee, thanks =) Maybe I'm going to write more like this. It's just as insane as I.. :P

2005-06-22 JeesumCrowe: OK ok ok! Let me get this straight... so. Time stops and repeats and during this emptiness of time, the main character (first-person 'I') watches his past, discovers his future, and the meaning of life, and this stopping of time is actually a de ja vu the day after the original, after which time resumes? Or? Heh, it's great, anyway.

2005-06-22 Jotunheim: hehe :P
