Help me get to sleep
Making sure the monsters are your’s to keep

Sometimes you never come; you can be such a pest
All I’m asking is for a little rest

Sing me to sleep with a lullaby
Calming like a bitter sweet cry

So peaceful as it seems
I’ll always be the victim of these dreams

They taunt, they tease
Anything I do doesn’t seem to please

Mr. Sandman,
Sleep may come here and there
But you never seem to care.
