(Grandest Wish)

My grandest wish, should it come true,
Would bring my heart to you.
This time, unlike before and last,
Unlike what happened in the past,
You'll feel as I do, and see
How much you mean to me.

Upon this instant I will seize,
And at that moment time will freeze
On the way into your eyes I may stare,
And all emotions may lay bare.

Once time begins anew,
We each will know what to do.
Oh, wish I wish this wish,
That I may be blessed with a kiss.

Entrancing moment, circles me and you,
While the frost might turn to dew
And we may stay in our eternal bliss.

In this grand and hopeful dream,
Everything is how it seems.
Nothing is left to a wondering mind.
Yet, out of this thought I find

That perhaps this is all it may ever be,
Maybe this wish will never spree.
Mayhaps a wish is all a wish can be.
