I raise my voice
to those who came before
to the fallen ancestors
of my people

In honor, I lift the song
to the long forgotten,
the proud warriors
of times long past

May your wisdom guide me
in times of trouble
May your strength uphold me
in my darkest hour

Let me be always mindful
lest I forget
from whence we came
May I remember
your sacrifice
And do all in memory
of your name.
