I've noticed that some younger people seem to think 'Your mom' is funny. Someone might say, "You dropped you pen." The person might respond in a smart-aleck tone, "Your mom dropped her pen!" Is that supposed to be funny? 1.) It makes no sense. 2.) Its not funny. 3.) Its not insulting. Its stupid. I'm here to tell you its annoying and I want to beat you up when you say that. It drives me crazy when someone brings my mom into a conversation.
And what is up with 'retard'? Calling someone that because you are mad at them is all rude, insensitive, and probably incorrect. I don't see how its funny. Or how its insulting. Its just annoying.
Why did we start using these words? Where did we hear them? Am I correct in saying its Napoleon Dynamite's fault? Quoting from the movie:
(GIRL): I'm trying to raise money for college
(KIP): Your mom goes to college!
(GIRL runs off crying)

(NAPOLEON): You frikkin' retard! You ate all the flippin' steak!

Do you find that funny? And WTF is "frikkin'" supposed to mean? I think that Napoleon Dynamite has gotten into some people's heads. Causing them to think that its actually funny. When I heard Napoleon say that, it made me want to change the channel, and watch something more appealing than this childish 'your mom' crap.

Have I made my point that these words have been overused 1 too many times, that its just bothersome?
