He
looks up
at the light
that suddenly
seems to linger in
his chamber slower now
than it usually does -
unwilling to say goodbye to
this room, this prison, this man who
can only watch awed at the dancing dust.
And wearily he thinks about dust and
particularly the simple fact
that all of the things in the world
are made of pieces of dust.
The thought brings him comfort:
he can always think
about small worlds,
millions of,
inside
him.
