My Sexual Preference


When asked what I prefer in the matter of sex,

If I am to answer truly and with due respect,

I can say (in all honesty, since I’m being frank)

That sex without love with me does not rank

As valid. For while the act of procreation

Can be accompanied by exhilaration,

Without the commitment of the heart

Something is missing, something apart

From the gratification and satisfying of lust:

Namely the joy, the passion, and the trust.
