Latanya had ten sons, all of them Avengers, but only one daughter, Princess Tivona and it is said that she was more beautiful than the Yolak Bud. Her hair was purple in the shade of Faylinn's leaves and her eyes were a green crystal lake of kindness.
Lots of okalanian princes wanted Tivona as their bride but there was a young fairy called Niran who had loved Tivona since they were children and they used to play together. Tivona also loved him a lot because he was one of the few fairies that could make her laugh. niran would often get depressed over the fact that Tivona was a princess and he a simple fairy guardian, one of the hundreds of the Royal Fairy Army. Tivona was always trying to cheer him up, trying to convince him that she would find a way to stay with him and not go against the Tradition at the same time, then she would take his hands and drag him into a night sky flight among the stars.
Latanya was aware of the two lovers and when she was pondering on her daughter's, soon to come, two hundredth birthday her heart was saddened and nothing is worse than a fairy in pain.
Then came a really dark night. The wind was blowing wildly through Okalani and heavy rain had sent the dwarves out off their underground residence. Inside this storm Princess Tivona was crying. Niran had been looking for Tivona for a long time before he found her sleeping under her favourite tree. Her hair was matted and dirtied with mud and her eyes looked sore from crying. Niran took her gently in his arms, kissed her lips gently and took her to Faylinn. On the next day, Latanya would announce The Hunt...
A crowd had gathered at Faylinn as Queen Latanya would announce the names of the ten fairies that would compete to earn Princess Tivona's hand. Tivona was standing aside, pale and frozen as her mother was shouting out the names of the fairies that would join the hunt. It was an ancient Tradition that a fairy princess would wed only to the fairy that had fulfilled the quest set by the current Queen and judged by the Holy Tree. Latanya had given the competing fairies a hard task. They had to bring a present to the Princess equal of their love for her. The Queen had announced the nine contestants and everyone was waiting in excitement for the tenth. Latanya waited for the cheering and chatter to die down and then announced Niran's name. Niran froze and then looked greatly surprised at Tivona who was smiling broadly now. Other fairies pushed him forwards and he joined the rest of the chosen fairies. Latanya cleared her throat and said:
"Rest now my dear fairies for The Hunt would begin at dawn. you will have a month."
That night Niran promised to Tivona he wouldn't disappoint her and that he would find her a present at all costs. Tivona didn't talk much that night, she was just looking at the only being she ever loved so much and kissing his hands, his face, his lips... At that night they became one... And Niran left...
A month passed and all of the fairies had returned apart from Niran. The Tree wouldn't give an answer if all of the contestants weren't present. Tivona would cry all night and day, secretly cursing the Tradition to lethe. One day she fled. She had been flying for weeks and was over the Rainbow Sea when she spotted a glimpse of gold on the earth below. She went closer and saw that a fairy was sat among a tree's leaves, his golden wings shimmering. It was Niran.
She approached him from behind and hugged him. He didn't even turn to look at her. He kept looking in the distance. When he spoke his voice was dull and gloomy.
"Get back, Princess Tivona. I have failed you. I can't find a present that equals my love to you."
Tivona clinged to him and started crying when out of the blue an imposing but also gentle voice spoke:
"What are you talking about my dear Niran? Look at the sky!" Both of the fairies looked up and saw two moons that had appeared out of thin air. Each was chasing the other in a crazy dance around themselves. A tall woman with red curly hair appeared in front of them smiling. Her figure could be that of a mother or a lover or a sister. "I am Lady Philana, keeper of Love and guardian of Olesia of the Humans. Your love for each other is so great that presented our sky with moons. This is your present, Niran. Your love gave birth to it and the tree approves." The two fairies grabbed each other's hands...
No one ever learned what happened to Niran and Tivona but the Okalanian Moons bear their names and are still there, in the Okalanian sky, moving in their eternal dance...
