Appearance: Zao is a thin, yet muscular, built human male with short, spiked black hair. His skin is tanned from all the time he spends outside, and his body toned to what most would consider past perfection due to the thousands of years he's spent training both mind and body. With deep, endlessly black eyes he's quite obviously different from most humans when you see him, even from a distance. Often found in loose fitting clothes which can betray exactly how thin he is and allow him to move easier, if noone knew better, they'd say he was just another adventurer with an attitude.
History: As the immortal, his history is practically that of the past 10,000 years. He has seen nations rise and fall, people being born, and then watching them die. He has traveled most of the world, renowned for his seeming immortality. Not only had he trained during that time, but he has trained others when he felt it necessary. In fact, one of the few things he hasn't done, besides getting close to anyone in a 'relationship' sort of sense, is meet his dragon...
Powers/weapons: Besides having an incredible amount of strength, stamina, agility, quick thinking and the will to live forever, Zao is often found carrying around a scythe that he crafted for himself over the years.
The blade is made from god rank dragon claws and teeth which he had either found or broken off in a fight that they started. The handle is made from a wood which no longer grows anywhere on the planet since it has been extinct for over 7,000 years now. It's said that this particular weapon is nearly indestructable and sharpens itself with eat cut it makes.
Personality: Being the immortal, he can often seem like an apathetic jerk to those who first meet him. However this is often because he often talks about other's faults in personality or otherwise and rarely, if ever, speaks badly about himself. This is, not surprisingly though, because he has every right to in his eyes, and in most other people's eyes, especially those who have lived for a long while. Zao has never needed another person or even contact with other beings to live because his will to live is derived from something that noone else understands. He is often cold and distant, especially to females who try to get close and has never in his life been close to anyone in any way more than a friend/ally. He fears not death because it does not come to him. He knows no fear in his life for one reason or another. So to all who approach be wary, for while he won't be rude, necessarily, he won't exactly be kind either.
Other: Zao knows people from every nation and race and is often either feared or respected due to his power. Overall though he is simply known as 'the immortal', rather than his actual name, and anyone foolish enough to fight him is left severely beaten.
