Don't mess with something that has nothing to lose. No matter who they are, what the are or even what they did. You do NOT mess with something that has nothing left.
What do you mean 'Why?' Don't you know anything?
It's because they have nothing to lose, everything to gain and not a shred of fear inbetween them and their goal. A goal that exists only for them. Or, rather, it exists infinitely more for them than for anyone else. They know nothing more than this goal. That, more than anything else about them, is the most dangerous weapon they have.
Think of it. Imagine it. Live it for a moment, if you dare. Just try to comprehend what it's like to have only the single, unending goal of wanting something, anything... everything. Now, if you've managed to grasp the concept well enough, imagine someone trying to keep you from that need, that obsession, that madness that is now your life. What are you going to do about it? Let them stop you? I don't think so.
You see now, right? How different these creatures are from the norm. Hesitation is a word they can't obey. Fear, an inconprehensible emotion made for those too weak to survive. Guilt, hope, truth, foolishness, futility, discomfort, beauty and even screaming your soul out are all just lost memories of things that they may have either never had, or never will again.
So, now that you know why, I'll say it again.

"Get out of my way, or I'll kill you."
