[Spirit]: 726.Animungus lupus: Chapter Two

 “I am Spirit. I have formed a wolf pack and the moon goddess asked me to seek you out and to have you come join my pack. We will not judge you but will welcome you with open arms. You will be with others like yourself you won’t have to hide what you are. I am sure you had to in the past. I will not allow them to judge you. Will you come with me?” AS he begins to answer he doubles over in pain. I get worried and ask what’s wrong. He says, “ I don’t know all I know is my neck really hurts and I feel really weak.”   I run over to him to see his wounds. I had gotten him pretty bad. I tell him to change either in full human or half. He changes into full human. Naked on the ground in torn pants he sits there crying out in pain. I lean in to check the wounds they are very deep and they won’t stop bleeding. I quickly grab some medicine from a small pouch I have in my pants and some gauze. (I changed to my half side, which included my pants.) I gently lick the wounds cleaning them out. I then apply the medicine and the gauze so his wounds can stop bleeding. “The reason for your weakness, is blood loss. You lost a lot of blood so I am trying to stop the bleeding.” I state. “What is your name?” I ask. “My name is Craig S. Lupu.” “What were you doing out here in the first place?” “I was looking for others like me I was praying to the goddess of the moon that I was not the only one of my kind. I am glad I found you.” “I am a little confused then. If you were searching for others like you then why did you attack me when I offered my hand to you?” “ At the moment I was scared and shocked at the same time and it drove me into fighting you I didn’t know what to think of you at first.” “I see well you need rest so sleep you are weak. I will soon go out and hunt. For now rest, I will watch over you young wolf.”  When I was sure he was asleep I went to gather some wood and a firestone, as we like to call it and some dinner for the both of us. Within half an hour I had the wood and firestone, now all I needed was to hunt. I checked on Craig and his wounds and set out for supper. No longer than 20 feet away I spot four rabbits. I shape shift into full wolf and crouch waiting for the four rabbits to come closer. I silently creep towards them not making a sound. I am close enough to leap and catch at least two but I want them all huddled together. I wait silently for them to draw closer to each other. When they are all together I leap pinning them all down I grab ones neck with my jaws and snap it killing it instantly. I grab another as the other two are trying to get free, I snap its neck and grab one other with my jaw and the fourth with my paws and snap their necks. I turn half and half and carry them back to camp.   I make the fire and sit silently chewing on one of my rabbits. I have placed two at Craig’s side and await for him to wake. When I finish the first, Craig awakens and sees I am eating, before he says a word I point to his two and continue on eating my own. When Craig and me finish, I check his wounds and change them. When Craig regained his strength he took off his torn pants and turned into his half form. As he gets ready to throw the pants into the fire I stop him and ask if I may see them. He hands them to me and I grab a sewing needle from my little pouch and turn into my half state I make sure that my hands are human though or else I won’t be able to sew his pants back together. I grab a piece of my fur and start sewing his pants together grabbing bits of my fur until I have sewn all of the holes in his pants.  
   When I finish I look them over and make a few corrections I then hand them back and look at him proudly. I then get up and walk over to a log to sit on. As I move towards the log Craig attempts to get up but he falls into the fire and jumps up with a yelp. I snicker at his clumsiness and he comes over to join me as soon as he has his footing. Craig turns into full wolf form as I do and nuzzles my neck. I look into his eyes with soulful eyes and I nuzzle his neck in response. I nip at his nose and jump off the log. I want to play. Craig jumps off and chases after me. I leap on a tree trunk and jump down landing on top of him. I lick him on a furry cheek and leap off. Craig gets up with a dazed look in his eyes but shakes it off as he leaps towards me and pins me to the ground. Craig nuzzles my neck and with a paw scratches my belly. I snicker as I try to wiggle free. Craig finally lets me up and gets ready to leap when something hits him really hard, sending him flying through the air. He lands on his back on the hard ground. I go over to make sure he’s ok. When I look up that’s when I saw the bear.
