[AuroraLumos]: 733.Dance of the Flame

I did this when I thought the drabbles had to be prose, but it didn't so I used the poem for the entry... still kept this up though :D, lol

The dance of the flame, it controls the darkness with it's movement. It decides where the light and dark is... no human can control it. I see it's dance from a distance, it has not got such a hypnotic effect from this place, it is just a movement to me.
The Others, all sat around it, hoping and praying for it to last the night, can not escape the hypnosis of it's continuous flickering, the repetitive motion setting the beat for the chant.
The chant for the dead has begun again, not for the last time.
Nor for the first.
