I continue to walk as is my fate; I note a change in the atmosphere. The sun is shining brighter than yesterday, the thick snow that fell an eternity ago; now melting away in the spring sun. A new lifetime is beginning, for plants and animals alike. Young lambs prance about in the sweet grass; buds are forming on the trees. Leaves, great thick green leaves grow out before my very eyes.
I can finally sit on the grass as the snow prevents me no longer. The Lord of Winter has loosed his grip. I can rest for another year.
