It’s early autumn, the sun is still warm, the colour of the leaves on the trees is just starting to change and I am happy.
Walking through the forest alone surrounded by a comforting loneliness, being able to drink in the colour, sounds and feelings of the place in perfect peace.
I settle down under a willow for a brief rest, watching final flight of the swallows as they leave for a warmer climate for the winter, and I shut my eyes to breathe in the smells and hear the sounds as I fall asleep, preparing a few dreams of my own.
