It had been a very run of the mill day, and Jessilynn hummed as she directed her horses into her drive. At the stables, she put the horses and the buggy away, making sure that they would be settled. As she worked, she thought of her day, and decided, cheerfully, that she would avenge her report, buried under her boss’s other paperwork. She was still plotting how best to avenge her poor, neglected report, when a splash of color caught her attention. There, on her front step, was a basket of fuchia fruit, which she could only think to identify as peaches, but bigger, and the wrong color. Attatched to this basket was a note, which read:
“A gift for you, of the Appolonza fruit. Enjoy!”
The note was not signed, but Jessilyn decided to try it anyway. She brought the fruit inside, and tasted it. Much to her delight, it was quite delicious, and a bit tangy. It would only be much later that she would learn who brought her this delicious gift.
