The semitruck continued on, as if nothing had happened, leaving the mangled peice of metal strewn across the road like a opened pinata. Kent was pinned under the opened airbag, the whole driverside dorr was completly ripped off and was half way over the railing. The shrapnel had torn into Kents side, causing huge gashes in his body and blood spread out over the pavement, shimmering under the streetlights.
He would have been a lot better off if the race had been on a more busy strip of road, but clearly then the race would have been much shorter. Then being unconcious didn't help anything when he was bleeding all over the road.
It was far too long before another car came by to call 911 and Emily and all of their team didn't even know what had happened until almost four hours after the actual accident.
