2006-05-27 [Kiddalee]: Woah. Way to organise.

2006-05-27 [Child of God]: ^-^ Ya and I can't even remember the books I read before high school. The descriptions will be up once I have time to do it all. Word of warning to all if you haven't already found this out:

University Kills Your Reading!

2006-05-27 [Kiddalee]: Huh? How?

2006-05-28 [Child of God]: You are forced to read so much in University, that alot of your recreational reading time is occupied by it, especially with the majors I'm pursuing. I've never read so many essays and text books in my life!

2006-05-28 [Kiddalee]: Hmm. I want to do English.

2006-05-28 [Child of God]: That's not too bad. There's still some, but not near as much as in philosophy. English is enjoyable cause you get to read some of the classics you meant to read at some point but never got around to reading.

2006-05-28 [Kiddalee]: Yes, I figured I'd just be doing intensively what I'm already doing a little of already.

2006-05-28 [Child of God]: ^-^ I found the wonders of Jane Austen through one of my classes this year. The first romance I read that I actually enjoyed. Then again, I will never read anything by Henry Fielding again. I felt like I was reading a long fanfic when I read Joseph Andrews

2006-05-28 [Kiddalee]: I read Tess of the D'Urbervilles by choice for my ISU last year in Grade 12 English, and am now reading Moby Dick completely on my own. So I got pretty excited to see you're reading Tess.

2006-05-28 [Child of God]: I don't mind it. It was supposed to be done a few months ago for class (hehe, TG for Sparknotes!) but I want to finish it. Did you enjoy it? And how is Moby Dick? It's on my To Read in the future agenda but I've heard some mixed reviews about it

2006-05-28 [Kiddalee]: I enjoyed Tess. So far, I'm enjoying Moby Dick, but I admit it doesn't need to be so long.

2006-05-28 [Child of God]: Hmmm, Guess I'll have to give it a glance this summer! Any other classics recommendations?

2006-05-28 [Kiddalee]: RR.Magnificent Ambersons, The, if you classify Booth Tarkington as old enough to be classic.

2006-05-28 [Child of God]: ^-^ Thanky Thanky!

2006-11-17 [Kiddalee]: Complete works of CS Lewis? *drools* I want iit~!
