CPS Chase


"Hey Kyle, what’s up man?" Kyle runs over to Tristian and grabs him by the arm. "Tristian, you have to come with me, now!" Yells Kyle who is starting to drag Tristian behind him. "But why?" Says Tristian as he's being jacked up from his computer chair and is being dragged out of his bedroom door and towards the back of the house. "You have to leave, now! CPS found out what dad was doing to you and they're here! NOW! You have to leave or they'll TAKE you!" Tristian looks at Kyle with a mixed look of confusion, alarm, and distrust. "But if I leave then I still wont be with you guys, pulse ware will I go? Have you forgotten, we just moved here, I don't know any places yet!" Yells Tristian, starting to get hysterical. "Shh! Be quiet, or they'll hear you!" says Kyle in a loud whisper. "I'll meet you in the..." Kyle is interrupted by a sudden yell from the other room. "There he is! Got him!" Shouts one of the CPS workers and jets down the hall towards the two young men. "Tristian run!" screams Kyle running in the opposite direction of the CPS man. "Tristian!" Yells 100Kyle as he stops and turns around to see Tristian stunned, frozen in fear. "Come on Tris.!" shouts Kyle while grabbing Tristian and pulling him towards the back door. Tristian finally starts to move and slams through the back door and running to the right and Kyle runs to the left. Tristian looks back and stops and turns to follow Kyle. "NO! Got that way!" screams Kyle, pointing to the right fence. "I'll meet you in the park!" Shouts Tristian as Kyle nods and Tristian takes off towards the fence and starts to climb as the CPS man comes through the door. The over sized man looks from the left, there he sees Kyle cutting the corner, too the right, there he sees Tristian climbing the fence, and thinks. (If I go after the oldest, he'll give me a harder time. I'll go for Tristian, he's the youngest, he'll run out of energy easily.) The CPS man runs towards the fence right as Tristian clears to the other side. Tristian looks back but instead of seeing some one climbing the fence, he sees the CPS man ram the fence and making his was through, as if he was tackling someone in a supper bowl foot ball game. Tristian starts to speed up as he turns his head back to the front and cuts through the neighbors yard and heads towards the highway. The CPS worker gets up from the ground and seems to fly towards Tristian. Tristian looks back and sees the worker closing in at a rapid pace. Tristian thinks. (Ok, what did Kyle teach me? Come on, he must have told me something about fighting.) Tristian slides to a stop and ducks with he head to him knees, turned side ways towards the worker. The man is running so fast and was so close that he couldn't stop in time and hits Tristian and trips over him and slams face-first into the ground. Tristian hurries to get up, holding his side ware he was hit and takes off back in the direction he came from. Tristian cuts between these two apartment buildings that are about a foot and a half apart. Tristian breaths heavily as every breath gets a little harder and the pain grows slightly with every breath. The worker scrambles to his feet, bloody nose and all, and sees Tristian barely walking and heads towards him. The worker gets close to Tristian and reaches out his hand twords him. Tristian look up and sees a fire escape and reaches up and grabs the ladder and pulls it down, hitting the mans hand and pinning it to the ground in the act. Tristian starts to slightly run out of the ally way and to the street and he sees the man pulling up the ladder. Tristian makes it across the street and to the park before the man gets out of the ally way. Then the traffic light changes colors and the cars start to go and the man and Tristian are separated on opposite sides of the street. Tristian meets up with Kyle and Kyle put Tristian on his back and starts to run. The light changes again and the man jets across the road only to see the empty park.
