Makyon Keller
Player: [Mister Saint]
Gender: Male
Age: 2 years (2002 years, older Fel's parallel)
Occupation: Slip Mage

Appearance: 6'4'', 265 lbs. Powerfully built, but beautiful in a man's way. His eyes are the clearest of clear gray, his hair shimmering sheets of pure oil cascading down a mountaintop. His chest is broad and sparesely tattooed with runes, but his arms are heavilyi marked with those strengthening symbols, and he nearly always wears a pair of unique gloves. He tends to wear a long blue vest over a bare chest, with black pants, and sometimes a blue hamburg or fedora as well. Occasionally, he can be found wearing bifocals.

Skills: Makyon possesses the strange ability to fold space as he sees fit. There really is no name for his breed of magecraft, if that's what it is, but nonetheless, it works something like this. He has the power to alter space in relation to himself in any way he sees fit, though it is taxing to do so. He has been seen 'teleporting' by folding the space between himself and another point into a tiny fragment, and stepping through it. In combat he has been known to throw punches that would connect long before they should have arrived, or grab something that should not be within his reach. He cannot pass through people or objects any more than he could normally run through them. It is an interesting power that he works hard to improve upon.

In addition, his physical strength and endurance is quite tremendous, for reasons his history explains. He is an adept fist fighter, and wielder of the quarterstaff, and has a rudimentary knowledge of medicine and first aid. Moreover, he has retained the extensive curse talents of Kaies Metsaf, though he is a failure as a medium. Lastly, he is essentially immune to the natural attacks of the undead... meaning he cannot be given vampirism or turned into an undead beast.

Equipment: Makyon's gloves are indestructible, and are designed to contain the tremendous power of his space-folding magic. His quarter staff is a leaving, breathing device created for him by the lich lord Shigoriath, and its malevolence is part of the reason for Makyon's dark temperament. The staff itself can heal, though its primary function is to enfeeble with beams from its tiny mouths. The range is short, about fifteen feet at max, but the weapon functions quickly. This spell is a form of sarcomancy. Makyon tends to shy away from it, though, and simply fight with the staff as it is.

Personality: Makyon is man of malleable temperament. His dark side is rare, but truly malevolent, while his normal mentality is slightly shy, flirtatious at times, and romantic. He is chatty in the company of women and men, though is inclined to 'put the moves' on a woman even if her husband is standing right next to her. Fearless in almost any situation, Makyon is perfect good guy material. It is a pity that he is on the wrong side.

History: About a year before the cursemage Kaies Metsaf died, his body was possessed by the then-unbound soul of Radivishe Moorn. Through the machinations of one Felina Deyono and the Guardians, Moorn allowed Kaies's soul to be freed of the body and placed into a homonculus, but Kaies's original body stayed with the sorcerer. After a while, Moorn tired of its physical constraints and left it to rot, and it would have, were it not for the wanderings of the lich lord Shigoriath. Shigoriath breathed life into Kaies's empty body, and set a soul created beneath his own bony hands inside. What arose was the man known today as Makyon Keller.

Weaknesses: Against pure magic and and mental assaults he is vulnerable, and though his endurance is great he is still mortal.  Anti-magic can distort his phase-shifting movement, causing him to appear before he had planned, or in a different place entirely. He has little patience for puzzles and riddles, unless he is giving them, in which case he can tolerate them.

Holy/Life oriented spells can sometimes bring harm to Makyon as well, and casting a healing spell on him is a good way to make him want to hurt you. Though not entirely undead, his body's configuration is close enough that he retains some semblance of their weaknesses.

Quirks: Makyon's sense of chivalry gets him into trouble with Shigoriath often. While he will fight a woman, he detests bringing them harm and, while he doesn't feel that women are inferior, firmly believes that they should be treated with deference and politeness if at all possible. He would never kill a woman in cold blood.

He also sometimes loses interest in the task at hand, which can be problematic.
