The Prompt

Write a piece about a scent, and a memory or emotion that the scent evokes. Be creative, be descriptive, and have fun!

Guidelines

I'm not going to put a wordcount requirement on this one, but try to keep it reasonable. 

I'm also not going to specify format. I will accept:
-Poems
-Short stories
-Diary entries
-Letters
-If you want to do something different, post a comment or message me.

Keep it PG-13, please. Some gore is all right as long as it is necessary. Some sexuality is also acceptable, if tastefully rendered. Obviously nothing that borders on the obscene or pornographic, for the love of penguins.

Judging

Final decisions on winners will be made by yours truly. Input may be asked from the lovely and talented Gretta(sadly, she hasn't been successfully recruited to Writersco yet) , although she hasn't yet been approached on the matter and therefore I can guarantee nothing.

First place, runner-up, and honourable mention will be awarded. Prizes will be determined when I think of something. Possibly exhaustive critiquing of a piece of your choice by yours truly, unless anyone has a better idea. And if you do, please let me know :)
