The theme for November's issue of WC Monthly is:

Ancient Cultures

What we're looking for is intelligent discussion, satire, opinions, and articles tied in with pre 1700-a.d. earth... we're using 'ancient' loosely almost entirely for the sake of Japan here, as it remained a largely un-modern place until some time after that cutoff. Otherwise, we're talking Jin dynasty China and before, feudal Europe, native America (pre colonial times), Nubia, Sumeria, and so forth.

In addition, our feature on Nanowrimo will be pushed back into December. We had been looking for stories from last year, but instead we will just collect them from this year.

We need poem nominations!

Interested in a debate? We'll be choosing an issue from ancient times with one of our staff on one side and a volunteer on the other. We're looking for informed debate, no mudslinging!
