Noticed a contradiction ;)
1.) If you are using a character from a published or unpublished work by another author with or without consent, it is fanfic.ie. Harry Potter, x-men characters etc
vs.
What if the Original Author has given me permission to use their ideas? This is not classed as Fanfiction. All those stories are written with the consent of the copyright owner. (You must demonstrate that you have direct consent from the original owner)

Also, not about the rules so much anymore, but there is a slight problem with the PlanetSide thing... I and Matt couldn't keep track of who all people wrote for PlanetSide XD Then again, most of the other people's stories are not linked, so I guess technically they generally only need my or Matt's approval, right?
