Ladies and Gentleman of WritersCo...

My name is [Mister Saint]. I promised myself that I wouldn't be active in this place anymore, except for my beloved Flipside, but... there is something that I can't really abide going on here, and it started before my initial troubles here.

This is a petition. This petition was made with the intent of stopping the influx of pornographic and 'too adult' materials on the site. The wiki HDP (warning, the material inside is extremely mature and unsuitable for anyone under the age of 18) which is literally an acronym for 'hardcore pornography', in an example of this. It was created to cater to impending contests at Free to Write that would involve materials of a highly sexual, even sexually deviant, nature,

According to the Terms and Conditions... well, I read it three times, and I couldn't find the content guidelines, but I was under the impression that basically any kind of writing is allowed, so long as a 'mature content' warning is in place. However, I feel that this is not sufficient for this place, especially considering the utter proliferation of minors that abound here. And since I was banned for disagreeing with a mod last time, this time, I feel that speaking to the community as a whole is a better way to do it.

Stories – What is permitted

1.) All genres are welcome, but we do ask that you refrain from uploading any material that is deemed illegal or not suitable for the community.

2.) Concepts such as extreme violence or explicit sexual references are acceptable, provided that you state clearly on the page that it contains such material.

What I am proposing is the limitation on graphic depictions of sexual acts at WritersCo via the amendment of that second rule, and I am asking for some common sense on this issue. Most of you know what constitutes graphic depictions. In order to enact this change, I am asking anyone who supports this to please place your username here. Please do not alter this page in any other way. Hopefully, we can make this place a little safer for everyone to enjoy.
