A fairly standard medium security prison on a planet inhabited almost entirely by gender-neutral, gray-toned folks.

Helantri Deru

"Tsk. Beat me." Felina flicks three of her tails, rather amused at the feel of them.

"Must be the furodynamics." Mara wiggles. "I could so get used to having a tail. So..." she looks around. "Iscovis is in a supermax cell. I think thash just to keep anyone from hurting him, though... you know prisoners. We're looking for a white door with bars and gates. And guards."

"Okay. I vote for 'invisible and walk right through things."

"Defeats the purpose of disguises, dunnit?" Mara nods, though. "Feel around for him. He has a practically awe-inspiring psyche. It's a gift from somebody that he doesn't have a good body, or he'd be one of those god things."

"Does not. You can still swish your tails and tickle yourself. And...got him. It's muffled, but I see what you mean." Off, then! Felina steps off, no longer visible, and just heads into the prison's wall.

Mara follows, doing exactly that.

The innards of the cell are pure, simple white. A bed inside the room holds position as the only piece of furniture, occupied by a gnarled little creature whose head is encased in a wiry helmet. Moniters all over the cell show his vital signs and brainwave activity.

"Hm." Felina looks over the various trappings. "Yes, I think I can fool all this without setting off any alarms. Maybe. If not we have that much more fun. You're fairly sure that this is relatively safe, then?" That they can trust him enough?

"Huh? Oh, right. Sure!" Mara nods. "He's not hard to keep happy. I don't think. If not we can just stick him with something sharp, right?"

"Point. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and disconnect all this windy crap now and inject false readings for it...will you remove him for me as I get him loose, and be ready to move fast just in case?" Felina steps over to the machines, examining them with both a mechanic's eye and a psychic's one.

Mara nods. "Hurry though. Sounds like a train a'comin'." She reaches out and grabs Iscovis, but the sound she had heard swiftly becomes far from subtle. The metallic clanging of some sort of walker sounds from outside, its heavy footsteps making quite a noise.

Felina is quick to act, but subtly...cloaks completely muffling she and Mara's sounds, electric fields, and heat signatures fall into place, and she quickly weaves an illusion of Iscovis precisely as he has been, covering all of the aforementioned details as well. Her claws fiddle quickly inside of the helmet, mostly to orient her senses...wires detach one by one, quickly, into small energy fields she's confident are identical to the traits being monitored. "Last one," she murmurs... "Okay, get him loose."

Mara grins and gives Iscovis a yank, enough to to send him and her tumbling to the floor. "Gah! Heavy!" Mara blinks. "Feels like he's full of gold or something. Something sturdy." Blinks again. "Huh. Nifty! Hey Fel, lookit, they cyborg'd him!"

Felina blinks. "Oh, good. What were you saying about it being a nice balance that he didn't have a functioning body? Anyway...if you still feel safe about this, do you need help?"

"It can't be any more dangerous than the whole 'why the hell are there ninjas on a starship!' escapade. I think I got him." Mara shoulders Iscovis up, groans, but smiles. "This ass is going on a diet when we get home."

The clanging of walker feet slows to a loud, cavernous stop nearby. Voices can be heard, along with the jangle of keys.

"Think that's our cue to jump ship, my love."

"Your wish is my command, my dear." And, at that, she tries to take them all back to her father's house.

Mara wags her tails just a bit before they vanish.
