A comfortable suburban home in uptown Okarthel. It's one of several dozen witness protection homes scattered around the city, and from the outside looks just like any other 2.5 kids house. Inside, a tastefully decorated home with soft, pale blue carpeting and plenty of living space can be found. A fully stocked kitchen, indoor swimming pool and game room, two bathroom and one dedicated bath... it's a great place for people to go when they're risking their lives.

Okarthel

Yin's dryly amused as they approach the house. It looks so...suburban. Granted, many of the houses look like they're on growth hormones due to their dragon residents, but they're still just tall versions of Americana. Heh.

The officers escort her inside without cover, in broad daylight. She's sort of a low-profile offender at this point, and her presence will actually do a good deal to mask Revilier's. Just inside the door they unlock the cuffs right as their radios blare into life at once, squealing about a robbery in progress.

"We'll see about getting some blood delivered for you,' one officer notes as they dash out the door. The cuffs and key remain on the countertop, forgotten in their haste as they leave her alone in her new surroundings.

A television set is on in the den.

Yin rubs her wrists. Abrupt! Oh, well. She always did admire cops, even if she considers their job fairly mundane. Catches the sound of the television and wanders off in that direction, idly noting her surroundings as she goes.

From the front door, directly forward is the comfortably furnished and homey den, with a large flat screen TV hanging on the wall and a sectional black sofa / recliner set posing as furniture. A hallways to the left leads to a bathroom and the house's sole bedroom, and to the right the game room and more bath chambers. The den has a set of two-way mirrored, sliding glass doors leading to the pool.

Sitting in the recliner, dressed only in a pair of fitted jeans, is Revilier. He's gazing at the screen in consternation, as if he hasn't turned on a set in ages.

Yin leans on the back of the recliner. Gazes at the screen a few moments, then looks down to Revilier. "MTV?"

Revilier looks up at the sound of her voice, and before he can stop himself his face actually displays a wash of relief at seeing her in one smartassed piece. "Yin, you're alright! Aren't you?" He stands, ignoring the television to turn those deep-gazing eyes upon her.

She smiles a bit, still leaning on the back of the chair. "I'm fine. Also, wearing something other than a hospital gown, which makes me wonderful. Are you okay, though?" He was in much worse shape when they'd arrived, after all.

The former general nods some, glancing down his prettily muscled front, past a set of parallel tattoos that almost look like military ribbons and a long, vertical scar running from his ribs to the crease between his hip and his body. He lifts the leg that Adelisa had skewered.

"It's not perfect. Someone cast my spell on me, I believe." Pauses. "Thank you, Yin."

Her smile shifts to something more genuine than her usual one. "My pleasure." She stands up. "I'm worn out, now. But I did manage a chance to use it on Alou, too." Smile broadens a bit. "He's okay now. We got to talk. He almost cried." Meh, who's to mention that she did, too? She's not telling. "So...thank you" And she steps forward, and hugs him. She really is a very touchy person when she's liking someone.

It surprises him. Really, deeply surprises the living and dead hell right out of him. Still, his strong, well-toned arms rise to wrap around her and return the embrace, while he breathes in the soft scent of her hair and skin. Doesn't say anything... he has nothing to say.

Yin smiles...she's...very grateful. It was the best and fuzziest she's felt in months. Holds him thankfully for a few moments, and then looses herself, heading off towards the bedroom wholly unfazed, searching for clothes. "Though pants would make things better still. By the way, you were told that we're both under house arrest here, right?"

"I thought it would only be me," the wyvern admits, eyes closing as she walks away. "If you're here too, I have to apologize. It is partly my fault."

One of the closets in the house has been stocked with plenty of Yin-sized outfits, and is open to her perusal.

"Not really. I chose to meet you. Besides, the charges involve continuing to act in the facility of a dragoon after being discharged, and that was all me." Grabs some cotton panties, a nondescript bra, and a pair of jeans...sticks to the same shirt, just tugging the rest on, not in the mood to linger over wardrobe.

Revilier considers all of this. He turns off the television, but doesn't sit. "I suppose we're both in this for a long time," he quietly observes, glancing down to his anklet.

"Probably..." She does belt the shirt loosely at the hips, the only reasonably feminine detail to an overal bedraggled appearance. She'd simply washed her distressed make-up off awhile ago, and has nothing to replace it with. Wanders back into the room with Revilier. "Kaz offered to bug the place, but...I told him I preferred to play it by the book for once."

"Kaz is smart. He knows his business." He can't help but grin. She'd almost look silly, if he weren't so irrationally, illogically interested in her. "I'm a little floored that they would put us together, though."

A quirky smirk trails across her face. "Come on. What's not perfectly logical about a foreign five star general of a chief rival nation apparently being placed on the same level of interest as a domestic rogue agent?" She shrugs. "Makes sense to me. Meanwhile, I'm going to explore the house a bit before you've been here another twenty minutes and I feel like I'm invading your privacy."

Revilier chuckles, an amused sort of laugh that Yin probably hasn't heard yet. It's actually relaxed!

"Shall I give you the twenty-five cent tour?" He holds out his hand, sans the thumb spike that was amputated at the hospital.

She notes the thumb spike...doesn't mention it, though. There's plenty they'd both prefer isn't brought up now, certainly. Tilts her head, chin resting on outstretched fingers. "No change. Start a tab for me?"

The ex-general eyes meet with Yin's, diving deeply into them, searching her without restraint.

"Give me your hand," he purrs, "and we'll call it even."

Yin's cheeks actually colour just a bit at this, and she looks down for a moment. Back up, smiles a touch, and takes his hand. "Fair enough."

He warms down to his core when her hand slides into his, and though he doesn't really squeeze it he does stroke her skin a little. Revilier leads her first to the game room.

"I don't know how interesting this room will be for us," he chuckles. "But billiards and the like are at your disposal. There is also a side door to the swimming pool here, and another accursed television."

"Mm. Probably can't use the pool. I bet I could find something interesting to do with billiard balls if I got bored enough, though." Smirks at the memory of using them as projectiles among drunks.

Revilier tilts his head a little bit. "You can't swim, Yin?" His grip tightens a little on her hand, eyes searching hers again, glowing with a gentle, embracing jade.

"Not well," she admits. "For lack of practice." Smiles a bit. "Filtered, almost certainly. It's fresh, flowing water, which makes it pretty neatly lethal. One of the main draws of vampiric resorts and spas is the chance to swim, since their facilities are designed for it. So...on the original question, no, I can't do much more than dog-paddle even in one of those, and that just barely." Chuckles amusedly.

He nods a little bit. "I didn't know that. Forgive me." Looks to the pool again. Looks back to her. "Will you be able to bathe, or shall I raise a complaint that the facilities aren't up to snuff?"

She smiles up at him. "Oh, don't worry about it. There are a lot of small details about vampires that the living really don't need to know." She winks. "And I should be fine. Can't shower, but a place this size has to have a tub."

His fingertips stroke her hand, squeezing gently.

"It does." He tugs gently, looking down the other hall. "Let me show you?"

"Sure." She's happy to follow along. Wonders absently when her depressive self is going to strike again. But eh. This afternoon is fun. And Revilier smells good...outside of smelling like hospital.

He leads her down the short hallway, passing the first door, and the second, and entering one at the end of the hall. Inside is a wide, beautifully molded porcelain tub, fixed into the center of a marble tiled floor. Multiple showerheads were fixed to the ceiling above, and a detachable head fitted into the edge of the tub as well. There were no windows, just a set of soft, rose and white lights.

"Here," he announces. Really, just looking at her. He really must explain himself to her, when they get a moment.

Yin blinks. "Fancier than the outside of the house," she observes, admiring the tile. She likes marble.

"VIP's," he chuckles, still looking at her. Doesn't really know what to say. "If you need to use this room, I can let you to it..."

Yin smirks at him. "Are you implying that I look and smell like I've been through a firefight, a grenade impact, and a lengthy helicopter ride? That's preposterous."

He smirks right back at her. There's something different in his bearing in this place, almost as though his step is lighter, his smile a little easier despite everything that's gone wrong in the last week. Revilier carries himself like a man whose entire life's burdens have been snatched away, handed to someone else.

Gently, he withdraws his hand from Yin's.

"There are towels and soaps in the cabinets on the walls, I think. I'll see you in a while, if luck really is on my side and I'm not dreaming." He turns, starts to walk away. "Although," he calls over his shoulder, "dreaming would explain why the bath chamber is so austere, and why Dragons decided to imprison us together."

"It sounds like the plot of a grocery store harlequin novel," Yin concedes with a smirk. Pause. Damnit! That was not supposed to be applicable or suggestive, and her cheeks turn a touch bit red. The tongue is quicker than the brain. "Aaaand my 'sarcastic' shoulder angel just lost his job." Snickers sheepishly, and finds the soap.

Revilier grins at her as he closes the door, leaving her to her privacy. Hm. So he's not the only one slightly off keel here. He'll remember that-- if nothing else, he can try to get her set straight.

Yin considers things quietly as she finds--to her immense relief--a couple of bathrobes hanging around, one her size. That makes things better. Hm...she hadn't seen anything else in the house. Had immediately been led around to one other room and then dropped off for an extended period in this one. Could he have played her? Grabbed the time to hide something?

Probably not...his circumstances alone make it unlikely. Still, he's likely to have guessed why they'd stuck her here with him...disgraced spy with plenty of threats that could be levied against her, and important enemy national leader put together in the same house.

Sighs as she draws a bath. Maybe she is too paranoid. Maybe she's just paranoid enough. Maybe she needs to be more so. She does like Revilier, but...has no way of knowing whether she likes him or a facade. Yin finally gets to slip into the semi-warm water, clothes piled off to the side.

Mm. At least baths feel good...especially with this many layers of grime on you.

Revilier lets her take her time. It's been a long time since he's shared close space with someone else, as his chamber in Grace Tower was a hole in the wall, heavily guarded with tripwires and lasers and sentry guns to number less than only one other place in the tower-- the gaudy, ornate chamber that posed as his real one to throw off assassins.

While Yin scrubs, the wyvern general continues exploring the house, and disabling every security measure he can find. He isn't planning on leaving, but he'll be damned to the pits of Styx before he lets them watch him live.

After a while - and another failed TV experiment - Revilier settles onto the sofa in his 'no shirt tight jeans CK commercial' attire, and closes his eyes. He might nap, maybe. Isn't sure yet.

It's awhile before she manages to get clean...has to drain the bath and then draw it again with clean water before doing her hair and really feeling scrubbed. Eventually, though, she gets there, and feels tremendously better for it. Thinks about calling her dragon contact. Decides against it. What's she going to say, "I'm here, like your cops couldn't have told you that?"

Takes her time in combing out her hair so that it reclaims its natural silkiness. She likes her hair. It's the best part about being from her Clan, she thinks...examines her reflection. Thank goodness that bit about vampires is just a myth; she's far too vain for that. She knows it, though. Personal flaw, but everyone has them.

Nah, she looks fine. Her makeup tends to mostly crisp things and give her lips an "iced mocha" look rather than their natural "hi, I have frostbite" one, rather than actually change her appearance. Somehow, she doesn't feel like make-up even if she had it on hand. Weird. Just doesn't feel like the superficiality. Maybe it's the idea of facade that's bothering her, considering why she'd been roomed with Revilier?

After awhile, and feeling so much better to be clean, she heads back towards the bedroom for real clothes, clad in that bath robe...smiles faintly. Asleep? Well, hopefully. It's been a long day for all involved. She ultimately holds onto the jeans but selects a long, flattering-if-you-look-good-in-all-clothes t-shirt hoodie, and wanders the house a bit. Finds two things that delight her. One is a punching bag, the other is a window seat. She adores comfortable window seats...and this is where she situates herself--drawing the curtains in front of the lower half of her body--to poke very, very carefully at her anklet with some small kitchen knives, critically examining what makes it tick.

Revilier has fallen asleep, actually. After his hospital visit and getting cleaned up he'd been a total wreck, largely from the strain of worrying about how he was going to stop Adelisa from getting herself killed with this hostile takeover of hers. He's tired, and that couch is comfy.

As soon as Yin starts poking at the anklet, the house phone rings.

She blinks. Could that be related to...? Nah... Still, she sets the knives aside and picks up. "Hello?"

"I don't know what you and Revilier are planning, but it rather galls me to see that all the security cameras and audio recorders have been disabled and your anklet is giving a tamper signal. I'm gonna warn you one time to keep any thoughts of double crossing us out of your mind. Your buddy Alou won't make it out of the hospital if you fuck with us, clear?"

She'd been amused to hear what the general had done to all the surveillance...until her expression darkens sharply at the threat. "...Clear." Takes a moment to gather her temper. "I wouldn't betray dragonkind. I'm not planning anything. I'm a career spy: of course the first thing I do is poke the anklet to see what makes it tick, especially with two unique assassination attempts around me in the last two days. I have no indication that Revilier is planning anything. He and I have really only communicated in a 'this is the bathroom' sense, certainly not conspiring." Sets a hand on her hip. "And finally, I seem to recall a statement involving, oh... 'there won't be any AV surveillance for your safety.'"

"Right, it's not for your safety. You're a spy. Get used to being lied to."

And the line goes dead.

Yin's grip on the phone is white-knuckled, still a few moments before slamming the receiver down. Damned fucking dragons. Now where's that punching bag? Stalks off that way.

It's actually in the game room, across from the billiard table. There's also one of those 'every excercise in one machine' bits set up nearby, a speed bag, jump ropes, kettle bells... anything one could want to stay in shape.

As she enters the room, Revilier shakes the nap out of his head. He hadn't meant to fall asleep, and is quick to go in search of Yin.

She's not hard to find, since she's in reasonably loose clothes already--the jeans don't help, but she can deal--and didn't feel like changing. Thus, her hands are taped and the heavy bag of sawdust is rapidly being made into a pissed off woman's bitch. The attacks fly blindingly quickly, and she doesn't notice the wyvern.

Revilier sits on a stool, content to watch her for now. Watch those trained fists essentially dial the sports shop for a replacement bag-- she's a fabulous striker. Very focused, very clean, and more importantly, very efficient. There's little in the way of wasted motion. Also, her butt looks fabulous in those jeans when she leans forward to punch.

"So whose face are you imagining on the bag, Yin?"

She manages a smirk after a moment. "Is it that obvious?" Of course, pausing at his voice has broken her momentum...she debates what to do. Finally continues a few moments more, kicks the bloody thing once for good measure, and then steps back, leaning on her knees a moment from habit. She's a little out of breath, but not terribly.

"I just hope it isn't mine," he laughs. "If you're feeling better, I would love to talk to you comfortably for a bit. I think I owe you an explanation for the last few months of your life." He idly rolls the cue ball around the table. Looks at her again. "I wouldn't be opposed to hitting the gym with you, though, if you wouldn't mind training with me?"

The first bit gets a slightly cocked eyebrow. Oh, yeah. That introduction definitely has her attention. "I'd be up for either or both. But I'm really interested in hearing what you have to say."

He nods a little bit. Rolls the cue ball across the table and stands, heading for the all in one machine. "How about both?" That way you'll be punching the bag and not me. He rolls his shoulders a bit, and reaches for the pull down bar meant to train one's shoulder muscles. "I should let you ask, I think. I'm not sure where to start or stop."

Yin pauses, considering. Wanders over to powder her hands. "I'm interested in all of it," she assures. Thinks. "I don't even know where it all started. Just a mission came up, a missing dragon's egg and obvious time limit. I shouldn't even have been on the case; I was supposed to be on vacation." Shakes her head ruefully, this fact plagues her to no end. "I was requested, I don't know by who. I didn't have to take it. I did, and the next thing I knew, I was standing in a blown-out seventy-eighth story on nothing but confirmable but false, planted information, followed by an assassination team after children." Shakes the excess chalk from her hands.

He pulls the bar down once, slowly. Weight's set pretty close to right, and he rather enjoys the strain. Also, his shoulders and pectorals flexing amuses him as his tattoos stretch and shrink accordingly.

"I can only guess that Adelisa set up the bombing. I discovered later that she knew of the missing egg and had tried to purchase it through black market couriers.  She was the only other person in a position of sufficient power to set up all the various weak spots in the wall, so to speak, that you mentioned." Revilier rises after a few reps. Looks to Yin, to see what she's about to do. "I should have seen through her, but Adelisa is the best actress I've ever seen."

"I'll give her that. She's particularly good at acting stupid," Yin observes. She'd suspected from the beginning that Adelisa was smarter than she was letting on, but...it's a common facade in her profession, especially among females in her profession, so she hadn't thought much of it. Steadies the punching bag, getting ready for a controlled workout as opposed to "death to sawdust!"

"She always treated her family like gold. Except for me, of course, but that's reasonable enough." The general moves over to the speed bag, fairly close to her. He's an old hand at Muay Thai, but hasn't had a chance to air his skills in a while. "Ambitious, though. She did everything in her power to get me to teach her the spell I taught you, but... it takes strength of character to perform properly. Bad castings put off the side effects you seemed afraid of the other day... we've a few gold-dressed fellows whose entire humanity was eradicated by her attempts to duplicate the spell." Taps the bag, searching for his rhythm. "I had planned to teach Jasne and Shem."

"'Golden-dressed fellows'...how many of you are there?"

He gives the back a stiff elbow, testing it. It moves pretty quickly, and he begins to punch it slowly. "There are perhaps ten or twelve of the Golden now. Adelisa stopped trying after a while, mercifully." Picks up speed. "Only you and I can cast this spell, Yin. Not another living soul can do it, and I was looking for Troix..." a little faster now. "After I heard about the dragon's egg injection healing her affliction, I began seeking her out in hopes that I could study the change, use it to cure the Golden."

"I figured you meant people who could use the spell," Yin admits. "Who are the 'Golden,' then...and what do they need to be cured of?" Is suddenly realizing that giving her that spell was a much bigger deal than she could originally have guessed.

"The Golden are Adelisa's failed attempts at the healing spell. Orphans and the homeless, mostly. The twisted spell healed their afflictions, even set them into pristine physical condition."  He has the bag rolling at a nice, smooth speed now. "It eradicated their minds. They're puppets now, and they only answer to those who can use the spell. I wanted to cure them of their dependence on its power."

Yin's eyes cloud a bit from where she has her own bag going at an even pattern, a long-preferred repeating pattern of hand, foot, and limb attacks that exploits a swinging bag. "Awful," she concedes. Creepy. And those poor people...forces her mind away from it. Too much she needs to know to dwell. Next... "What about Troix's biological dad? Had the crap kicked out of him, and then killed in the hospital, ending with me getting chased through town by Prata at probable threat to my life?"

"I instructed Brandt to get the information using any reasonable means. I sent Prata to enforce 'reasonable' but... well." He hits the bag a little too hard, thinking about Brandt, and loses his rhythm. "You saw how my daughter pandered to him. I didn't want Josel dead, he was too good at his job and Spider prosperity has always gone hand in hand with Wyvern prosperity."

"That I can buy," she assures. Fucking Brandt. Changes her pattern to a different one. She has three, and between the three, she practices every strike she uses that can be performed on a punching bag. Now...it's getting into a more complicated time. She's quiet awhile, actually, just striking. Truth be told...she doesn't have a lot to ask about what happened at Menayen's house. That could only have been expected to go down just as it had...although she's grateful Brandt hadn't shot her and Kaz while they were unconscious.

Finally..."At the tower," she inquires a little more softly. "Kaz said that he was fully interrogated. Alou of course got the shit beaten out of him later. And Kaz never saw you, however much a point of interest he's been. Why did things go down as they did?"

"Alou was not supposed to be harmed. I'd sent orders for Brandt to be shipped out on duty, like you'd suggested for Prata's sake." He picks up his rhythm again. Fist, elbow, elbow, fist. Muay Thai's is known as the 'eight points of striking' and makes heavy use of knees and elbows as well as fists and feet, and eventually Revilier moves away to shadow box and work the knees, which lift and strike with pinpoint accuracy and quickness. He's not as fast as Yin. He's really not as talented a pure fighter as Prata, even, but that's not what made him a general. "I wanted to know some things about Kaz, and honestly, he's been a thorn in my ass for a long time. I didn't want to do it myself, though." Smiles at her. "Didn't want to go unprofessional and let my wounded pride at him kicking my ass at so many things get the best of me. To think, Kaz was a little furry... excuse me." He stops kicking. Watches her. "I'm rambling. You're really good at striking, you know."

"Furry pervert," she finishes for him. Smiles a little. "I get a lot of practice. Punching bags are cheaper than therapists." Finishes up her second set, moves to the third. "I can understand how Alou and Kaz ended up treated as they were, in each of their situations...what I don't understand is my treatment. Why you, with a nation to run, questioned me personally. Why it went...well, as it did. Why it didn't involve blood, and why I wasn't released when Kaz was."

Revilier stops punching. He's beginning to sweat, anyway, and needs to move to something else.

She was gonna ask. Man up.

"Jasne was handling affairs at the time, with Adelisa monitoring her progress. You..." he sits on the billiard table, watching her work, watching her grace. "... all that I wanted to know from you was Troix's location. Hurting you seemed unnecessary, and by the time you woke up she had probably been moved anyway. You wouldn't know her location. And... I don't know why I kissed you, and gave you my blood, and... you know." He's actually blushing. Dammit. "I told myself I was trying to sway you into my confidence, I guess. But I don't regret what I did."

Yin smiles a little. That's...almost sweet. Smile fades a bit, though. Considers...gives the bag a final smack, and then backs off. Gazes at the ground a few moments, before looking over to him. "Is that the reason I stayed chained to a table? Because you had a crush on me? Or why two men died in a rescue attempt that Prata said you knew about in advance?"

Of course...even Yin hadn't expected any chance of a rescue. An independent contractor for two days with Spiders, and disgraced and dismissed from dragoon service, she didn't have any ties strong enough for it to even seem a possibility.

"I..." he looks down. "I didn't know what to do with you. I was afraid. I had to think." Idly rolls the cue ball again. "I was going to tell you, the second day, and apologize for my actions. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I didn't regret touching you, and Brandt's attack had derailed my thoughts pretty handily."

"As for the men who died... did Kaz bother to mention that the rescue squad was not the only team that entered the Tower that day?"

Yin looks up quickly from untaping her hands. "Pardon?" She's...so sick of being partisan. She wants to know what happened, and she wants as many people as possible to give their sides of the story. She can sort it out later...but she wants to listen.

"Kaz used your rescue as cover to plant a viral node in our electrical system. It wasn't set off, I think, because Alou was caught. It would've thrashed the entire system-- Jasne caught it when she was trying to download video games for Shem to play. Very quick, Jasne." He dunks the cue in a corner pocket. "I didn't know they were there to save you until I heard Prata scream from the tazer. She thought she was dealing with a takeover attempt, and they did draw on her."

"Interesting." She's quiet at this, gaze ponderous as she untapes her hands. Doesn't know if she's going to move on to other equipment or not...but she doesn't like tape for anything but fighting. Multiple goals in an operation always weakens every one of them. She wonders if her rescue had been of primary or secondary importance. She does believe Menayen had cared--she knows Alou had, but he wasn't calling the shots--and did risk being there for her in person specifically when it was time to get her out, but...she's not unsure he wouldn't put greater good first. And she had only worked for him a day. "It would explain that scope of an operation for the sake of just-employed independent contractor," she admits. Is a little hurt. Is so easily hurt nowadays. She really isn't cut out for this profession anymore. It never used to bother her. She'd gotten where she is today...or, where she was a year ago...by being a frigid bitch.

Idly picks the cue ball out of the side of the table when it rolls up, setting it back on the felt, and flicking it lightly, setting it into a slow roll. "I'm not questioning the reaction that killed them, really. I just wondered at the cause." She rarely faults the hand that pulled the trigger. It was someone's fault, but only occasionally theirs. She's killed...hell, in the vacinity of two dozen after all these years. Damn that's a high number. But usually in self defense.

Looks up. "The two soldiers covering me at Venice. I did get confirmation that both of them died." There's an undeniable guilt in her eyes over this, poorly buried.

"If it hadn't been for them it would have been you and I," Revilier is quick to respond. "And I highly doubt bringing the reinforcements was your call, miss 'I defeated a silver wyvern and a fire wyvern without any clothes on while being ambushed in close quarters and unarmed by myself.' " He forces a smile. "You're a loner and we both know it."

Her lips twitch towards a smile. "Had both pants and a bra on, thank you. Just...lacked in everything else."

"Word of mouth, you know how things get distorted." Revilier rolls the poor cue ball when it nears his hand. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you why I kept you at the tower. I genuinely am."

She shakes her head. "Compared to everything else that's happened in the last few months, it was a nothing." Watches the cue ball idly. Regardless... "Why interest in anything but breaking my face, though? At the time of my hearings ,at least towards the beginning and in what made it to court, you were vocal enough in my removal. Not that I can blame you, considering it's your grandkids in question."

"Part of that might've been Adelisa, sending through a courier, as I only made a few statements when I was told you had done this." He looks at you. "I like your face, anyway. You've got great eyebrows."

She grins just a little. They're meticulously plucked, but thin and white on utterly pale skin."I barely have eyebrows."

"Really?" He rises. Steps closer to her. "Let me have a closer look?"

A slight blush begins to build at the dges of her cheeks. She just lets her grin close to a slight smile, though. "Knock yourself out."

The ex-general closes the distance between them swiftly, a man on a mission. He edges close to her, close enough that she should be able to smell his shampoo, smell his vanilla scented deodorant. He reaches up, hand moving to cup her cheek against his palm the way he'd done in the tower, looking at her eyebrows only now and again.

Her cheeks are warmer...still cool. Her skin is always cool. But...warmer. Ice blue eyes gaze quietly up into his, just...wondering. About him. Could someone as advanced in rank as he is really wear his heart on his sleeve? He couldn't have come so far on honesty...could he?

Revilier returns her gaze. Why does he keep doing this? Why can't he just tell her how he feels instead of getting physical right away? He doesn't believe in love at first sight. He does believe in intense, physical attraction at first sight, though.

His eyes shift, glancing at her lips. Asking permission.

Yin keeps to his eyes. She's much more comfortable with him this time...even if he still makes her uneasy, largely for the many unknowns he presents...it's really part of what makes him so intriguing. Sets her hand over his, eyes quietly intent. Finally, still softly... "what is it that you like about me?"

Revilier is content to answer her fears. Maybe he can answer some of his own, too.

"Honestly," he softly informs her, "your eyes... when I first saw you... captured... helpless... vulnerable... they were fearless eyes, untouchable eyes. I wanted to know about the woman behind those eyes." It's true, though he couldn't have worded it like that until just now. And he's gazing into them, searching them.

And said eyes soften a little bit, still meeting his, brimming with calm intensity. Mm. She likes having to look up reasonably sharply to him. At 5'7" herself, she doesn't always have the opportunity...and it hadn't been obvious last time, when she'd been chained above the floor. "And suppose," she murmurs, "that I'm only unshakeable when I don't trust you?"

His hand slides along her jawline, down, moving along her neck to bury itself in her hair and wrap around the back of her head. He looks down at her, close enough to feel the coolness of her breath against his neck.

"So don't trust me," he whispers, "we can pretend we're still enemies, Yin." His grip tightens on the back of her head; not enough to hurt, but firm enough to let her know he isn't letting go.

She grins a little, fangs glinting. "I think you're so interesting...because I can't quite figure you out, anyway," she murmurs in return.

Revilier grins right back. On a whim, he softly kisses her cheek before saying anything. "I'll just have to remain an enigma, then. Now..." his free arm moves to wrap around her waist, "... are you hungry...?"

Her smile broadens a touch. "Well. I hadn't been." And isn't. But feeding can be about so much more than just consumption.

He squeezes her close to him. God help him, but he can't stop himself. "What if I told you that I want to finish what we started in the tower...?"

She smiles faintly, before it fades into something more serious. More earnest. She wraps her arms loosely over his shoulders. "I," she notes softly, "would make sure that I haven't given you too much credit in assuming you know we were roomed together so that I can milk you for information. I don't want you to find out later, and think I was just using you."

His smile comes into full, now, beautiful and honest. His eyes gleam a little bit, and he kisses her other cheek. Starts to answer. Kisses it again.

"I knew," he assures her, "but I don't think I would mind being used by you. I don't have anything left to hide."

After a moment, her smile returns...the closest to a genuine one he's ever seen, certainly. Maybe it is genuine. She doesn't know any more, really. Leans up...hesitates just a moment. And then kisses him softly.

This is a whole different woman from the tower. Soft, and gentle. Willing to take a chance, not unable to make a different choice. His arm tighens a little around her waist. His kiss slowly searches hers, content to accept, but looking for a chance to give back, give even more. It's not love. He's sure of that. But maybe it could be, eventually. He doesn't know.

Yin feels...warm. As much as an ice element vampiress can, anyway. She doesn't know what she feels for him. Not love, no. Interest, intrigue...she really likes him. The layers of him, not always knowing. That he's a strong man...in and of himself, and physically, and in world presence. It helps that he's beautiful.

Not love, no. But the makings of some hell of an affair, to start.

Revilier's first instinct is to lift her and slam her onto the billiard table. But that doesn't work in real life. Instead, he kisses her more deeply and crushes her, still gently, to his naked chest. Lets her feel his muscle against her, to acclimate her to the situation.

His kisses, warm and slow, begin an agonizing trail down her neck.

Yin shivers softly...a unique sensation for someone who has a hard time getting a chill. Smiles faintly, breathing just slightly less even in the anticipation of it, and tilts her head to give him better access.

He's gentle, but quick. He kisses all around her long, graceful neck and lower, gently suckling her skin before kissing back up to her lips.

"Your escorts," he whispered, lips brushing hers with every word, "left their handcuffs here, you know."

She grins at him, cheeks flushed and eyes tinted with lust. "Now what on Earth," she purrs, hands locking in the small of his back, "could you possibly do with those?"

"I'll show you," he growls before showering her with more fevered kisses. "C'mon. Let's go somewhere you can be comfortable when I lock you up." Kisses her again, and glances to the master bedroom. The cuffs are on the counter nearby.

Yin smiles. Stands on her toes to be nearer to his eye level, leaning forward against his chest. Grins, fangs glittering. "...make me."

A broad grin breaks out over his face on that. "My pleasure." Suddenly his hands lock onto her shoulders. He turns, powerful muscles bulging a little as he turns to shove her against the near wall.

She catches her breath at the impact...Whoo. So there is fight in the boy after all! She squirms, but finds herself quite locked down. Ah, fighters...! She smirks. "Pity your cuffs are over there. What can you really do next?"

Revilier winks at her. "Never underestimate a man whose goal in life is to make you scream his name until the neighbors register complaints." He kisses her again, her, and grabs her shoulders again to push her that way, hoping to pin her against the door frame near the counter and kiss her the whole way. He's breathing harder now, sweat starting to shine all over his taut musculature. He wants her more than breath right now.

Mmm...lord but he's a good kisser. She can't recall being this turned on...since the tower. The sides of her lips twitch up just slightly despite the kiss.

Each time he loses his grip on her, she does something to twist or shove away...mostly for show at first, more effectively towards the end. He catches her every time...and that turns her on even more. By the time they get to the handcuffs, her back is pinned securely to his front, body held tightly in place by chiselled arms, both her wrists pinned securely against her by one of his hands, and a delicious grin is set across her slightly more winded expression.

Her struggle is feint, and he knows it, but fighting for her, struggling, scratching to restrain her in an enormous turn on for him as well. His lips assault her neck, smacking gently against the smoothest, coolest skin he's ever tasted. He can feel the tight curves of her ass pushing against his jeans, and the pressure makes him want her that much more.

"Now," he rumbles near her ear, reaching around her slim, lithe body to stroke her neck with gentle motions of his fingertips, "before I capture you again, I want you to feel something I've been saving for you." His hand falls down the front of her borrowed hoodie, lightly rubbing over her breasts on the way to slide underneath the bottom and flick at her jeans' button. Golden light flares around his fingertips, teasing, but not yet touching.

Her body tenses with anticipation, breath quicker just at the thought...it helps that she's actually more drawn to the spell than she had been before, with it a part of her. Finally groans softly after a few long seconds, squirming. "'Just like baseball?'"

He grins... can't believe she remembers, even though it wasn't all that long ago.

"Just like baseball," he purrs against her ear. Kisses the lobe gently just as he begins to rub her tight belly, fingertips glowing brightly with the casting spell as he runs them down her body, down, down into her falling jeans, covering her panty-covered center with his warm, glowing hand.

She gasps softly, smile trailing over the edges of her parted lips, head tilting back to be beside his. Already she's anxious, impatient for more, and harder, and deeper, but...god, is it a start. His hands are divine.

Seeing an opportunity, Revilier shifts a little and mashes his mouth to Yin's, his glowing hand rubbing slow, torturous circles around the crotch of her panties. He kisses her with everything he has-- by now, the strain against his jeans is beginning to hurt, but he doesn't care.

He pulls his hand away from her, lets her jeans fall to the floor and grasps the bottom of her hoodie. "Give this to me," he grows, giving it a tug.

She'd kissed back with vigor. Now, half an inch from his lips, she smiles an sly sort of smile. A spy's smile. "You'd have to release my hands for that," she purrs.

"I would," he quietly laughs, and does, but only after reaching down to stroke her through her panties one more time. Her kiss still tingles at the edge of his lips. His shoulders are heaving, eyes a little brilliant with enthusiasm and lust.

Yin shivers at that. Pulls her shirt halfway off...then stops. Mock-considers. "But should I really...?"

Revilier grins. She's such a horrible, beautiful, wonderful bitch!

"No," he answers for her, and rushes forward to take hold of her hips. He leans down and kisses the small of her back just above the cleft of her ass, and begins to kiss up her not-quite bare back. His hands slide around the front of her, stroking up her sides to begin pushing the shirt up for himself.

Yin's breath is quicker now, so clearly evidenced by the movements of her faintly muscular back. The shirt tousles her hair neatly, which falls freely into messy waves when the garment finally slips away. After a moment, she turns her head a bit to smile back at the wyvern, taking great care to not jab him with her horns, eyes faintly glowing. she leans back against him.

Revilier welcomes the feel of her naked back against his chest, like a warm silk robe draped over his shoulders. He wraps his powerful, sculpted arms around Yin's body, flooding her chill with his warmth. His lips attack her bare shoulder, and one hand slowly creeps up her torso to cup and stroke her breast, lit up with his beautiful spell when he tries to gently pinch her nipple.

Yin's breath is short now...muscles tightening and relaxing without regular pattern, writhing with each wave of sensation. Catches her breath when his hand finds her nipple, tensing.

He lets the magic flow freely, now, as he teases and tweaks her darling nipple. He has all the strength in the world, this time, to use it as he sees fit. His other hand falls, slowly caressing her belly and her hip, down again, combing into her neat little strip of pale hair.

"I think I want to hear you moan before I cuff you, Yin," he whispers, moving to dip his fingers underneath her panty line.

She laughs a breathless chuckle after a few moments, amusedly misty eyes turning up to him. "You may have been about to get one had you not asked," she murmurs with a little grin. Gasps, though, tensing at traveling fingers. Witholds the exclamation this time, because she is such a delightful bitch.

Revilier shudders a little, hips beginning to strain at the fabric of his jeans and cause a bit more pain than he likes. "Well," he breathes a warm breath against her neck as his long fingers cup her center underneath her panties, "I thought if I asked, you might try to hold out on me." He kisses her shoulder and neck with lips and a little tongue, and slowly, slowly begins to run his fingers up and down her neatly groomed womanhood. No magic there, not yet.

Her smile broadens, eyes mostly closing, just...lost in the feel of it. Her body stiffens, straightens a bit, and she squirms...breathes a shaky breath through her smile. She's actively fighting groans now...it feels so overwhelmingly good...!

With a deft hand, Revilier releases Yin's lovely, pert breast and swiftly undoes the button of his jeans, tugging the golden zipper down. He's wearing tight, black briefs underneath that cup his manhood neatly and wrap tightly around his firm, well-toned ass. Still tight, but not as painful as jeans. In a half-breath his hand returns to the lovely creature in front of him, stroking up and down her belly with gentle scrapes of his fingernails.

His kisses intensify on her neck, each as sweet as summer air after a fresh rain. Gently, his first and third fingers spread Yin's pouting, smooth nether lips, massaging them gently to warm and stretch them a bit before the middle finger begins to slide inside of her, little bit by little, glowing bit.

Yin gasps, hips bucking against him a bit. This is too much...she loses her fight and loses it utterly with a soft, somewhat high-pitched moan-gasp, pressing back against him with her body.

Her warm, soft ass pressing against his steel-hard heat almost breaks Revilier's rhythm. " That's good," he purrs against her neck, "that's what I want to hear, Yin." A careful motion slips a second finger between Yin's moist lips, and the ex-general begins to wiggle his fingers back and forth as they pump into her, searching for a very special spot inside her.

Now that that particular battle of wills has been joyously lost, Yin's no longer fighting it, gasps and moans falling into a more or less steady rhythm with his fingers. She's moving against him now. Staying on her feet is fast becoming blissful agony. For how aroused she'd been before he'd even started caressing her, her exclamations are rising in pitch, body tightening and rapidly approaching acknowledgment of his efforts.

He takes a moment longer, massaging inside of her, gently running his lips and tongue along her neck. Her movement against him is torture, and though he reciprocates, he fights himself enough to get in control of his body. He knows that it can be difficult for a woman to remain standing, though.

"Brace yourself," he warns, and loops his free arm around her svelte little waist. He lifts her with that one, powerful arm, his fingers still holding their rapid rhythm beneath her panties, and sets her on the countertop near the cuffs. In a moment he shoves her into a lying position and jerks the now sopping crotch of her panties aside.

Revilier wastes no time, hoping to keep her sensation going. He leans between Yin's slippery thighs and laps at her, driving his long Wyvern's tongue between her lips and wriggling it, small noises of pleasure sneaking past his lips.

It may have taken a few moments to reclaim... but this is something she's never felt anything even similar to before, something exquisite. She cries out sharply, fingers winding around the back of his head for a tight grip on his wan hair with one hand, the other affixed tightly to one of his forearms, hips bucking despite herself.

She tastes like nothing he's ever tasted before, so cold, so fresh and cool that pleasuring her with his mouth and tongue is like washing his face in a cool mountain stream. It's addicting, in a way. Revilier craves it, and more, and licks her without restraint or breathing time, really. The arm that Yin holds slowly moves up, reaching to tease her beautiful breast. The other lifts to her chilly, wet slit and slips two warm fingers inside, pumping into her again.

"You're delicious, Yin," he growls, and doesn't wait for a response before wrapping his lips around her tiny, sensitive little nub.

She couldn't have answered even if she wanted to...several thrusts after his his fingers enter her again, she gasps and, surprising herself, looses a clipped scream to the first shattering orgasm of the evening, almost certainly the most intense she's experienced in her life, hands balling towards tight fists and little tears of ecstasy actually teasing her faint lashes. Body tenses to a trembling stillness, then jerks against him, then repeats this.

The Wyvern doesn't stop his stimulation of her beautiful, exotic womanhood. Keeps going, to ride out what he hopes is only the first of many powerful orgasms for her on this night, and so she doesn't crash, so she doesn't come down too hard. He runs his tongue up and down her chilly, wet slit for a moment after her bucking has slowed, and then bodily climbs onto the counter next to her to gather her gorgeous, nearly naked body into his arms and gently kiss her trembling lips. He reaches down, fondles her wetness to make sure she stays level while he kisses her frostbite colored lips.

She can only just barely catch her breath...opens sparkling, wan blue eyes a touch. Smiles at him, and returns the kiss, wrapping her arms around him. Lord, but he's a wonderful lover.

He holds her, squeezing tenderly in a stark contrast to the violence of minutes before. The wyvern nuzzles her sheets of ice white hair, fingers lazily stroking between her legs. He gently tugs the crotch of her panties back into place, gives her flower a little pat.

"Now," he whispers just behind her ear, "think I can convince you to come to bed with me...?"

She grins a little, eyes still glowing with the feelings of a few moments before. "I think may be a distinct possibility."

Slowly, he lets himself down from the counter, hands sliding down her long legs. "Can you stand?"

"Mm. Am comfortable." She laughs softly, and finally sits up, slipping off the counter. Good things to come, after all!

He wraps his arm around her to support her whether she needs it or not. Holds her, looking into her eyes for a moment longer before snagging the cuffs and key and leading her towards the bedroom.

Aww...she should have given him a harder time about this part. She's a touch off her game, still recovering from that fabulous little encounter just now, and feels a bit like a teenager being led along by the school dreamboat.

Well, not that this is completely a bad thing. It happens to be a very pretty dreamboat...with some hell of a long tongue. She consents to follow along for now, anticipation rising a bit as they approach the bedroom.

The room itself is spacious, decorated in a more modern fashion than the master bath. The bed is actually round -- though Revilier doesn't immediately guess this, it had been placed there in the hopes that Yin would attempt to sex information out of him -- and covered with soft faux fur sheets. A fake waterfall set up is in the corner, and the one window allows the rising moonlight to pour in a perfect circle on that bed.

His hold upon her waist loosens a little bit. Hand descends, palm gently cupping her amazingly cute little butt. He's a little surprised she isn't fighting him. Wonders if she wants gentle pleasure now... and decides to find out. His grip tightens a little on her ass, and he suddenly moves as if to lift her off her feet.

She's still not sure what she's in the mood for, honestly...Yin is playing it by ear, waiting to react to what comes next. The oncoming lift gets her attention in a big way, though, and her hands move quickly to get on top of his upper arms. Not to stop him, but putting her in a position where she can react quickly. Still some fight left in her, a sparkle of impishness...she's just still deciding whether to use it.

The cuffs clatter to the floor. Revilier rams Yin against the wall hard enough to get her attention, buries his face against her breasts and kisses them urgently.

Her eyes snap open, then soften and harden at once, gleaming with delighted lust. One of her hands slips down for previously manicured nailed to fiddle in teh small of his back, and she turns her head to kiss his throat...gently here, tightly there. Her fangs brush often, but never bite...teasing him. Will she bite, or won't she?

Grins, and kisses again, tightly, tongue playing along his throbbing pulse.

Her kiss is so cold. So hot, and so cold, and he loves every second of it. Revilier's long tongue brushes over her neck as well, followed by nipping kisses. His hips involuntarily push against her, grinding what's fast returning to full, raging erection against her panties. He's burning up, and craving her, craving release... however Yin wants to let him have it, or take it.

Yin catches her breath...leans back a little, still pinned to the wall, and clasps her hands to either of his cheeks, gazing up at him, face perfectly straight. "Maybe we should just be friends."

The wyvern isn't sure he heard right at first. Looks into her eyes, still breathing hard. Slowly lets her down from the wall, but holds onto her waist. He's thrown off-kilter by that big time, enough that his hardness even begins to soften just a little. Just stares at her, waiting for her to laugh.

She's barely keeping a straight face, really. A tinkling laugh splits the air only just after one of her feet deftly takes out one of his, body shifting rapidly in a throw she'd already set up, changing their positions in a big hurry, shoving along his upper body too fast to catch his footing, until he ends up soundly on his back on the bed, arms weakly pinned, and with a delighted semi-dragon gazing down on him with laughing, lusting, deep-glowing eyes. Her face is just inches above his. "You're almost as much fun as I am evil," she murmur-purrs.

Revilier stares up at her, breathing hard still, amused, a little annoyed, and so prepared to delight her little body until she can't see straight if for no other reason than to avenge himself.

"You're almost as evil as you are gorgeous," he quietly answers, looking down her body, devouring her with his eyes dramatically.

She grins. Leans down, and kisses him hard, eyes closing...shifts her hands so that his arms are held in one hand, and the other set of fingernails trails slowly along his body, sidelong across his belly until stopping...just playing idly at the edge of the crease between his groin and legs to start the abused wyvern back on his game. "But what can you really do now, all pinned down?" Kisses his neck.

She has no intention of keeping him here for long...couldn't possibly hold his arms with one hand. She knows men. And she knows people. Tonight, to feel perfect, he needs to feel powerful. And that...well, she really thinks he's worth giving it to. And it all to. Lust, mischief, bliss, desire...and real affection. Every one shades her gleaming glacial eyes.

He actually relaxes, lets her have her way with him for now. Just feels... her weight, her coolness, her breath against his skin. He hadn't meant for it to go this way. Not really. But here he is, and she is...

"I," he softly whispers against her ear, "can do this." Moves his feet, planting them on the bed, and bucks his hips with fierce strength, hoping to toss her forward so that he can free his arms and wraps them around her legs and waist.

She eeps!, half involuntarily. Hadn't expected him to do quite that, no! She something between flies and tumbles forward, arms flailing a bit for balance.

His arms clasp around her waist and thighs, and he kisses her chest again, and again, hungrily suckling at her breasts just as soon as he can reach them. His powerful shoulders twist abruptly, throwing Yin to her back with quite a bit of force and following her down, face buried in the crook of her neck, blowing warm breath all along the gentle line of it.

Revilier's hand slowly trails down Yin's belly, settling over her panty-clad flower again.

She shudders violently, expression brimming with profound want. wraps her arms around his back, fingers spread and gripping tightly. Kisses back wherever she can reach, with all she has.

The soldiers strokes between her legs, up and down, deep, slow strokes, massaging Yin's swollen lips through the thin sheen of cloth. He can feel cold wetness against his fingertips, some of it from earlier no doubt, and wants nothing more than to flood her sex with torrents of that wonderful stuff.

His fingers slip beneath her panties' waistband, covering her moist center just like before-- only this time his entire hand blazes to life with the golden spell. His lips mash to hers, and in the same instant he grinds the heel of his palm against her luscious, sensitive clit.

Her eyes snap open. She would have cried out, but for the kiss...would arch her back, but is delightfully held where she is by his steel-hard body adn the soft furs beneath. Eyes glaze, just...writhing. "Take them off, just take them off," she begs with soft breathlessness as soon as she's granted a moment of air.

Her passion is his pleasure, he delights in the way her svelte body thrashes and undulates beneath his touch. He kisses her lips, hard, suckling her bottom lip, and draws back a little, gazing into her eyes.

"Make me," he growls, and plunges his fingers between her slick lips, wriggling them rapidly and pouring his power into her gorgeous body.

She's almost still a moment, before renewed gasps meld with a rueful, appreciative laugh. His comeuppance! Sucks in a quick breath, a high moan melding into it. "At least kiss me," she just barely manages.

That, he can do. Without withdrawing his busy fingers from her sopping flower, Revilier slides an arm underneath her back and cradles her against his powerful chest. His lips brush hers, then press against them, kissing tenderly and deeply even as his fingers pick up speed and pressure.

It makes it hard to remember to even breathe...but she does so love kissing. It's close and tender punctuating something utterly base and feral. Even as she's burning up inside, and even as occasional squeaks and cries are muffled by locked lips. She finally has to jerk her head back to gasp at a particularly insistant thrust invading deep inside of her.

He catches his breath, too. God, but he loves kissing her. Her mouth,so cool and warm, her lips, so soft... he falls to her neck and showers it with suckling kisses while she breathes.

Abruptly, his fingers squelch out of her wetness, and take hold of her panties' waistband, tugging it.

She catches her breath, opening her eyes just a bit. Her only overwhelmed response is to shift to allow them to be pulled off, and reach for him.

When he slides her damp panties off of her feet, Revilier takes a moment to hold them close to his face, inhale her sweet, cold scent. He's still wearing his black briefs, which are straining terribly in the front right now, but doesn't move to take them off. He's wonders about the cuffs. maybe later.

For now he lays down upon Yin, supporting most of his own weight with his hands at either side of her shoulders, and kisses her again, deeply and less than tenderly. He savors the taste of her rapid breath, her cool tongue, and the feel of her erect nipples scratching against his naked chest.

She is...so amazingly turned on right now. Hot, for her, and as at peace and content as she is agonized and anticipating. A gorgeous mass of toned muscle and utter beauty wrapped around one of the most... utterly intriguing men she's ever met. His weight against her...she loves it. Adore it, the heavy and utter closeness of skin against skin. His briefs still on, increasing hardness burning against her skin, and yet not yet inside her...not that she's not anticipating, tremendously even. But the closeness...enclosed, held down. Protected, and yet vulnerable to a a moment of his choosing, and this will end utterly, and give way to a new kind of bliss.

For now, Yin clings. Kisses him, and clings.

Revilier holds the kiss for a long, long time, gradually easing his weight against her cool, damp skin. Pure torment, that cloth separating his key from her glistening door, enough that he silently curses the man who invented briefs. Sweat drips from his skin and onto hers as he breaks the kiss and drives his cloth-covered hardness against the slit of her pulsating quim.

She sucks in a slow, shivering breath, which proceeds to stay in her throat the first little bit. Shudders violently, cheeks taking on a new kind of redness. Strains, rubs against him. God, she's not far from something even with his briefs on. Deep lust is beginning to hook its sensuous claws into her psyche...eyes open just a touch, gazing into the remarkably clear ones before her.

Revilier grinds the fabric against her, up and down, a little harder.

"Do you want this, Yin...?" he hisses, grasping at her ear with his warm lips.

"Yes...yes I do," she inlines into uneven breaths.

"Yes you what?" His eyes burn, and REvilier begins to kiss her again, licking and suckling his way down her body, intent on making her suffer for it.

Her cheeks redden at this. "Ass..." she murmurs at him. That slight, amused smile is pressing the edges of her lips. Until a well-placed bit of tongue wipes it into a gasp.

"You aren't getting it," he purrs between swift, sharp kisses running a circle around her pale, sparkling pubis and firm thighs, "until you ask for it." His hands snake along her belly and ribs, reaching for her breasts, his kisses at last centering on the dripping ice flower before him.

She almost manages to laught softly...flushes when he reaches center. So good, but...not again, that's not what she needs this time. Threads her fiingers into his hair, grasping tightly. "Please," she pants, groaning slightly. "I need to feel you inside me..."

He looks up, peering over her strip of white hair, past her quivering belly, past her pert, perfect breasts, and deeply into eyes that, right now, are the most gorgeous he's ever seen. Giving her one last, long, tender lick and a gentle kiss for her throbbing little clit, Revilier slides off the bed and hooks his thumbs beneath the elastic waistband of his briefs. Looks at her, almost as if challenging her to look into his eyes instead of at his chiseled body, and strips out of his last scrap of garment.

He catches his breath when his hardness springs free of the cotton confines, standing fully engorged before him. That is so much better.

Yin's eyes actually start at his face. Eyes travel down appreciatively over his musclature, and when he finally looses his briefs. But the last place her eyes end up is on his green ones again. She closes hers, and just moves back towards the pillows and lies back again, smiling faintly. She is so ready for this. For him.

The wyvern stalks across the bed, almost cat-like, and kneels in front of her. Drinks her in, from head to toe, the sublime beauty of this mysterious, powerful woman lying vulnerable and needy before him. Gently, he pushes her glowing thighs apart and rests his thick shaft against her center, rubbing slowly along her slit to gather her wetness. Revilier gazes into her eyes all the while, hands running up and down her legs. One last, wicked tease.

Her whole body is shining. Gleaming with what's already happened...but nothing more than her eyes. "Please..." she murmurs, reaching for him.

He nods. Pauses, so she understands that he wants to take his time with her, make her feel fabulous. Revilier grasps her hips almost gently - not quite - and guides himself between her nether lips, lowering his body atop hers to rest in her arms.

And the spell flares to life, all over his body.

An exhaled gasp, something between a moan and a breath and cry of shocked relief, breaks from her lips. Clings to him, and...actually, rather than tensing, seems to relax. Just...ready to ride through whatever with him. Gazes into his eyes, smiles. Wraps her arms around his neck, and kisses him softly.

Revilier melts into her kiss and into her ravishing body. She really is incredible, though the strange coldness surrounding his member stings it with unreal sensations he can't quite describe. He lets most of his weight rest on her, thrusts slowly into her, almost casually at first. Everything feels raw, untamed, even primal, and the wyvern loves it.

"Would it help," he pants, breathing almost too hard to speak, "to give you my neck...?" Maybe it'd give her the universe's greatest climax at this stage. Maybe it would do nothing, he doesn't know. Doesn't wait for a response, just angles his head to expose his neck as his pounding hips pick up speed and strength.

She squeaks or gasps occasionally at some persuasive, exquisite buck of his hips...is no passive partner, herself, her own body sometimes grinding with or against his, turning where she thinks it will give him or herself some a new sensation. The feral wonder of this meeting isn't lost upon her...and this, as she gazes at his exposed throat, spurs her already overcome body to another pleasure.

A lick, a kiss, and then a tighter kiss, fangs scraping as before, but still never piercing...considers something. Then, slowly a delicious grin threads into the far edges of her lips. Her fangs glint a distinct golden flash before sinking into his exquisite throat.

Revilier's eyes roll back, lids flutter, at the flow of Yin's newfound power flowing into his fresh wound. It doesn't hurt, and their combined Golden power keeps him from weakening or being harmed, even a little. As her fangs sink into his neck his ass tightens and he plunges into her as deeply as he can, body on fire, her amazing sexuality forcing explosive power into his hips.

Her back arches in response, a sharp cry of pure ecstasy muffled against his neck. Fingertips grip more tightly into his bare back...the other at the upper edge of his chest, a part of him she finds unconditionally attractive. Her body burns inside...utterly invaded, and forced into a state of perfect heaven.

The feeling of pure power, absolute control of her energizes him, gives every thrust a little more power, a little more depth. It's an illusion, he knows it, but he doesn't care. Every muscle burns, every synapse blazes with activity. He can't see, he can't breathe, and all he can hear is her voice, panting and gasping over his skin. But feeling, feeling... buried deep inside her viselike grip, milking him for the sensation she's giving him in the same movement. Faster, faster, faster, he drives himself into her, losing control.

Yin gasps, fangs slip suddenly out of his neck to avoid jerking and hurting him with a wordless cry she knows she can't possibly withhold. She isn't even here anymore...just him, only him, and pure sensation. Another ecstatic scream, and her legs turn just a bit to wind over the backs of his, holding him to her, trying to crush herself to him. Needs him inside of her. Needs him inside of her, and needs to feel him come inside of her, more than she's needed anything in her entire life. There's nothing else, no one else. Only now. Only Revilier.

When she pulls her fangs away he bucks harder than ever, and reaches behind her to crush her to his chest. He'd been about to ask her, whether she wants him to back away. The look in her eyes, the little nod he's sure he saw, and the way she pulls him deeper inside of her... his heartbeat pounds all the way down his shaft, so close to exploding, to pouring his life force into her body. His back stiffens, muscles tightening in frantic spasms, and finally Revilier erupts, mashing and grinding and coming into her surging, needy wetness.

"Yin...!"

"God, Revilier...!" it's all she can manage before her hips slam against his with nearly bruising force, vaginal muscles grasping at him as surely as her white-knuckled hands to, forcing every ounce of his precious offering deep inside herself. She doesn't hear her own cries. Doesn't see anything. Hearkens only to their slick skins slapping against one another and the angelically violent symphony within them.

Sensation. That's all he knows as he empties the last of his life force into Yin, the strain of rippling muscles, the wetness pouring from his hair and her flower comingling with his boiling seed. A pain so sweet it feels like dying and being born in an instant of blinding light. A final, gargantuan thrust, bashing their bodies together so hard he can feel his pubic bone grinding into hers, and he collapses on top of her, straining for breath, clinging to her.

Yin, really...is hardly conscious at first, for how lost she is. Trembles beneath him, panting. After a few long moments, she musters the will to kiss his jaw softly, and just buries her face back in the crook of his shoulder, still clinging. Still keeping him right where he is. There are no words. No words could be enough.

Golden light still crackles up and down his form, keeping him breathing, keeping him conscious. Good gods, but that was spectacular. He gathers himself as best he can once the rational world stops whirling out of control, and kisses her cheek and chin with tender affection, none of the violence of before. Rests against her, and holds her close enough to rest as well. He never thought it would be like this, this good, this amazing.

"Breathe, Yin," he softly whispers once he finds his voice, "just breathe with me."

Her expression tips towards a smile...something he won't be able to see, but should be able to feel with her face tucked against his skin. "I couldn't, there, for a little bit," she murmurs. Finally removes her face to gaze up at him. Kisses him softly.

He kisses her, too, gently. No lust there, just... glow, and peace. Holds onto her, loving the way her slick, naked skin feels against his own.

"You were amazing, Yin. I've never felt so... alive."

She smiles, eyes soft. Expression isn't hiding something, for once. She literally can't remember the last time she was so relaxed. "Mmm...well, I had to do something to try to keep up." Grins a little, and blushes. He's the best lover she's ever had, hands down...and she's had several over the years.

Smile grasps back towards devilishness. "Still..." she reaches up to touch his cheek gently, fingernails caressing and examing. Grins a little. "You had the most adorable expression when I said 'let's just be friends.'"

He grins a little bit. "I was trying to figure out if I had the courage to ask you if you could, or wanted to, stop me." Strokes her hair, gazing into her eyes. "It's hard for me to believe this happened."

"Mm...because I'm a dragoon?" It is an essential difference in race and class alike. Cuddles back into his shoulder, thoroughly content.

"No," he softly muses, holding her in gentle arms. "I thought I'd ruined my chances that first day. Taking advantage of you." Squeezes a little.

She smiles. It's a different smile, fainter, but...very genuine. "Well. I'm not always into second chances." Gazes back up at him. Smile broadens a touch, and her fingernails trail ponderously along his jaw. "But some people deserve them."

He returns her smile. God dammit. She's perfect. Hardassed on the outside, soft as silk on the inside. Beautiful, powerful, vulnerable and invincible.

"Some people do," he agrees, drawing her closer. "I don't know what to say or do now," he admits, "but I like where we are."

"I think," Yin notes softly... "that I just want to sleep." She can the tiredness creeping its way back in. And she wants to hold onto this peaceful contentedness as long as she can. Let it permeate her dreams, no fear of the nightmares, for once. Just wonder. Smiles at Revilier. This wonderful, powerful, tender, fascinating, gorgeous man beside her. "Please stay with me...?"

"Of course, Yin." He squeezes her again, gently kisses her throat and face. "As long as you stay with me."

She smiles faintly. Kisses him gently. "I like you a lot," she murmurs softly. Smiles, and settles deeper into his muscled arms, closing her eyes. All she wants is to stay awhile.

Revilier kisses her eyelids, and her sweet, frostbite colored lips, and holds her tightly, protectively whether he wants to admit it or not. "I like you, too," he whispers, eyes closing as well. He'll stay. She's too wonderful to let go, right now, or ever, really.

It's well into morning by the time Yin's eyes flutter open again. Mm...fuzzy and warm. And soft breath on the back of her neck. She smiles faintly. Oh yeah...that's what she did last night. A lovely feeling envelops her when she realizes...he'd stayed all night. She's not a hard enough sleeper for him to have left and come back, she'd have awakened. Turns a bit to see whether the wyvern's awake, quiet and careful to not jostle too much.

He is, eyes about half open. He'd awakened a while ago - how long, he has no idea - to the scent and feel of a beautiful young Dragoon lying naked in his arms. Oh, yeah. That's why he dreamed of her all night long. He'd lain awake, listening to her breathe contentedly, while he contemplated what the day might bring.

"Good morning," he whispers. "Welcome back."

She smiles sleepily at him, and then is content to settle back in right where she'd been. Considers quietly. Finally... "you stayed."

And he's content to hold her, too. They've become too close, now. Together, they've survived a vicious assault and escaped, they've been gym rats, they share a Golden power unique only to them, they've shared their bodies with one another, and a bed as well.

"I couldn't think of anywhere else I'd rather be," Revilier answers her, after a moment of thought. Hesitant. He's worried that she might respond badly or, even worse, one of them may feel something serious the other doesn't. Even more worrisome is that they both might feel something serious - that, however, is not quite a bad option.

She's quiet a bit. After awhile..."thank you." Yawns, but is content just to stay. A pale hand settles around one of his arms. Doesn't really feel like getting up and facing the world...for at least a couple more minutes. It's too good here.

Revilier places a feather light kiss on Yin's hair, and one on each horn. She really does have a softness underneath her spy-warrior nature, almost like a bubbling mire of self-doubt and yearning for acceptance sealed inside a diamond box.

Right now, he has nothing, no one else-- his eldest daughter just sacked his empire, and took their children with her. Prata is stewing in a Dragon prison - something he intends to look into shortly, if he can - and he himself has been relegated to house arrest in a foreign nation where, apparently, the power structure is just as flawed as anywhere else.

With all of that... the very last thing he wants to do is make Yin feel like he doesn't care about Yin, the person, and not just because the sex was mind-blowing. Revilier is not a loner by nature, at least not by the strict definition. It's part of what made him a great general and soldier, the 'close-knit ties' mentality Silver Wyverns tend to display in one form or another. He functions best when he has someone to lean on him, and to lean on.

He kisses Yin's forehead again, and just holds her, lazily stroking her smooth back and ass. They'll have to get up eventually. Not now.

After awhile, a small smile has finally overtaken Yin's features, along with a strange, warm feeling that she can't fully identify. She usually only associates it with Arux...and that makes her uneasy.

Still...it's a good feeling. And as near as she can tell, she has a wonderful man right behind her, holding and protecting her. That's just a delicious mirage, really...neither one of them is really in control of what comes next. Smile broadens a little. At least she can savor it. Savor now, whatever is or isn't true. Settles in against Revilier, and, though no longer tired, rests against him for a precious few more minutes.

Finally, she props herself up a bit on her arms. Turns, and kisses his cheek softly near his eye. "I should probably go call my dragon contact, pick more or less benign somethings you told me last night, and make like I cleverly tricked the information out of you." Grins at him a little. "Also, you've ensured that I need another bath."

"It may be for the best, yes." He wonders, to himself of course, how long this living arrangement is going to last. Till they get what they want out of Yin, and then what? She's probably been offered some sort of incentive for the information. Maybe even her old rank? The chance is great that he'll never see her on friendly terms again.

And so, he holds onto her just a little bit longer.

"I think I might go for a swim while you do that, Yin. If you need me, I'll be out there." Revilier kisses her hair one more time, gives her ass a naughty little squeeze. Smiles at her.

She smiles back at him, genuinely, bit blushing pretty soundly. Eyes travel down just an almost bashful moment, before meeting his again. Okay, yeah. So maybe the need for an encore when the moment's right.

She slips out of bed, wandering over to the closet to find a robe or something. Actually, there are several...in lace, silk, satin, and sheer chiffon. She wrinkles her nose, and pulls a teddy from the closet--it's all whorish, not really a touch of elegance to it--and another outfit meant to be daytime garb that...well...there's more material in a super heroine's costume. "This," she declares, "is how you can always tell whether there were security cameras planted in the bedroom." Smirks. "I would bet my firstborn that there's no long flannel in here, Autumn or no."

Revilier chuckles quietly as he rises from the bed, and glances into the closet. Oh yeah. They expected her to try to seduce him for her info. "Hm. How did they know my size? But don't worry. I disabled the security cameras yesterday." Looks her slowly up and down, blushing a bit. "The only person who saw your beautiful body was me."

Yin smiles at him. "Oh, I know, or there would have been more blankets over us." Hangs up the lace stuff. Considers hanging them in the trash compactor. I mean, seriously...she owns some nice lingerie, she does, but you can be classy about it. Takes out the silk robe--a little short, but she rather likes it, anyway--and slips this over her shoulders. "My contact--I'm not being evasive, by the way, I don't know his name--called and bitched at me for disabling all of the AV surveillance and tampering with my stylish anklet." She laughs softly.

"I'm not surprised. They aren't going to trust you implicitly, after Venice. May I?" He reaches for the belt of the robe, to tie it for her.

She smiles at him. "Absolutely." Brushes back her long, slightly tangled hair, getting it out from under her collar. "It's a fair trade-off, anyway. I don't trust them, either. I was told there wouldn't be any surveillance in the house, 'for my safety.'"

"I'll be they told you it wasn't for your safety," the Wyvern chuckles a bit, "tried to get past it with word play." He reaches for her belt, but his hands move past it and inside of her robe, sliding beyond her waist to wrap around her back and ass. He kisses her one more time, deeply, softly.

She warms to the very core of her being, eyes smiling. Closes them, and wraps her arms up around his neck, happy to return the sentiment.

He lets himself enjoy her warmth, her closeness, and marvels that she almost seems more attractive when half-dressed. The kiss is a long one, a parting kiss for the morning, but at last he draws himself away from her delicious, soft mouth, and gently ties her belt in a loose knot. Looks into her eyes, just for the sake of seeing them, reminding himself that she's not a dream.

And those frosted blue eyes are, right now, gleaming only for him. She's real, and her still uncategorized feelings for him are, too.

The wyvern general pats the belt, toying with it a little as though he's not sure what to do with his hands. Gazing into those eyes, he's totally lost. Almost kisses her again, but knows that if he does, they may never leave. "This looks beautiful on you," he observes. "You look beautiful." Dammit, stop saying that!

She smiles. The backs of two fingers trail down his jaw. "I think you may have me beat there." Glances him up and down. "I like your outfit, too." Laughs softly as she turns and heads towards the living room to look for her phone.

He just smiles, watching her leave, eyes set on the second cutest ass in all the universe. When she's out of sight, he scrounges for a pool towel and goes to swim a bit, get the kinks worked out of his muscles. He doesn't have a swimsuit, but is sure no one will mind.

Yin, for her part, sighs quietly when she picks up the phone. The warm glow in her heart is slow in fading, but it is fading. Well, that was fun. Back to reality. Hits the proper call button, and waits to hear someone pick up. "What time is it?"

"Oh, thank God. I'm glad to hear from you." A different voice from the water dragon, no doubt the Herbert he'd mentioned and entirely female, soft and reassuring, sounds through the speaker. "I was worried that you didn't check after the initial arrival call. Are you okay?"

Yin blinks slowly. Well. 'Is she okay?' That's different. "I'm fine. Just haven't really had a chance to call alone since then."

"I'm glad to hear it, soldier. I'm the real Herbert, and I apologize for the call you got yesterday evening. That guy is not going to be talking to you again without my say so, and I say no." A pause, the sound of some sheets of paper rustling. "I've been matched with you based on your data and service history. I'm an Ice Dragon, but I can't tell you more than that over the phone. We're gonna need to be able to trust each other, so they thought since our Draconian natures are the same, well, I'm rambling." Another pause, a clinking sound. Probably a coffee cup. "Do you have anything to report?"

"Points of mild interest." Yin seats herself in an overstuffed leather chair, pulling her feet up with her. "He thinks that the security holes mentioned in my reports of my initial Grace Tower infiltration, in retrospect, were Adelisa's doing. That was actually on the helicopter ride over there, reflection after she tried to kill us, since I'd challenged Omeaux on the matter in Venice." Gazes thoughtfully at her nails. "Said that Adelisa is ambitious and a good actress. Denies most of 'his' testimony in my hearings last month, says he released just a couple of statements and that the rest was probably his daughter via courier. Also got to hear about a maneuver by Tarantella agents under Kaz I hadn't previously known about involving a computer virus."

"Do you buy it? It sounds like he's blaming a lot on Adelisa Omeaux in one lump. I'm skeptical. It's hard to imagine him being so successful without being cunning, and Adelisa taking over the Tower does serve as a great excuse to blame her. Hm. Well... tell me about this virus? This is news to us."

"I think I do...but I'm more or less taking my instincts with a grain of salt. Revilier Omeaux is...an exceedingly hard man to read. He comes across as too honest to be real, to an extent that even my cynical ass never receives warning signals on anything he says. Withholding sometimes, which you'd expect from any military VIP, but never lying."

She hugs her knees a little with her free arm without realizing she's doing it. She isn't sure which she wants more: that he turns out to be for real, which would fly in the face of everything she's learned to be true and challenge her entire world perception, or that Revilier turns out to be just another golden-tongued military liar, which would restore normalcy to her gilded world of thousand-layer masks...and, although only her gut will admit it and she could never rationalize it, shatter her.

"He says that the cooperative 'rescue effort' for me between Kaz's forces and Unit Eleven was only one of two Spider teams that entered the Tower that day. The second planted a viral node in the electrical system that, in Omeaux's words, would have 'completely thrashed it.' He thinks it wasn't set off soley because Alou was captured, and it was ultimately disarmed before it could be activated."

"Did he say what was done with the device?" This is quick, almost shocked.

Yin blinks. "No, he didn't."

"That's how Adelisa Omeaux started her takeover of Grace Tower. A full-scale system shutdown via virus followed by partial restoration in sectors with troops loyal to her. Men and women dressed all in gold routed Revilier's troops while they were bereft of communications."

Holy hell. "If the information he's given me is accurate, troops in gold should always be loyal to him, without exception, and won't take orders from anyone else." Considers. "What happened to loyalist units? Are they imprisoned, or...?"

"Some were killed. Most were imprisoned, but we're not sure what else happened. Only that there seem to be a great deal more of Adelisa's Golden boys walking around today."

Yin's expression darkens. The line goes silent for a few moments. Finally, more softly, "according to Revilier, the first Golden were results of Adelisa's attempts to duplicate a spell of his that he refuses to teach her. The results of the failed experiments were people who had essentially been stripped of their minds, just puppets who answer to people who can use teh spell. He said there were only twelve of them. If there are more, and it's confirmable that that's what's happening...you're witnessing crimes against humanity in progress."

"Is that so...? Well. At least twenty were marching in front of the tower today, doing parade drills. Or that's what it looked like. Do you think Revilier can be trusted?"

"I'm not sure," Yin admits. Is quiet. Closes her eyes. Hell of a judgement call, this. Her next statement may determine the course of the rest of her life. Not only that, but affect her fellow soldiers. Ex-fellow. Whatever. Her heart is still with the dragoon military. "But...I think so. And on this matter, the Golden thing, yes. Yes, I do. It shouldn't be too hard to confirm, anyway. If just one is captured, their psyche can be evaluated, and if their numbers are rising, it can't be Revilier doing it."

Silence on the other end. Tapping of computer keys. "Planting a node that doesn't launch until after the leader of the nation is away, then... hm. I'm sorry, I'm babbling. I'm kind of a conspiracy theorist, you know, they're always watching us, that kind of thing. How well do you know Kaz?"

"Revilier said that it was disarmed," Yin reminds. "It could have been re-enabled later. Anyway...not very. I know that he takes good care of his own people, that he's some non-furry cat thing I can't begin to identify as any race I've ever heard of, and that he's a hyperactive and enthusiastic little pervert who's all talk in that regard. Extremely intelligent and competent, hacker, and has access to some very advanced technology including a portable portal generator thing he noted as being 'from where he's from.' He did brave coming in person to help get me out of the Tower after I had worked for him for a day, though I won't pretend to know if there's more to it, and tends to taze people rather than kill them, though I have seen him sick a machine-gun based security system on a very dangerous intruder. He seems like a decent guy who honors attachments he forms to people. Bit of a sensitive ego."

"Hm. Okay. I'll worry about my conspiracies later. If there's nothing else, give me a call later. Even if you don't find out anything, so I know you're okay."

"Okay. And yeah, I'm done."

"Good luck!"

The line clicks, and disconnects.

Yin closes her own phone, quiet. Hm. This might have been more clear-cut had her contact remained a jackass. Damn. For now, she just heads off to grab a bath, running the water at the same lukewarm temperature she had before--it feels extremely warm to someone with a normal core body temperature in the high seventies--and takes her time, trying to relax again. After all, it's not like she has that much else to do...which is, in and of itself, a new and different feeling.

After awhile, she gets tired of this and takes a leisurely time getting her hair dry and preened, dressed--she feels an odd desire to look better than she had yesterday, and ends up "casual chic"--and wanders off to find the deposed general.

Revilier's still swimming. He's done a number of laps, and feels much better after what was, honestly, some pretty rough lovemaking and a night with the unfamiliar sensation of someone sleeping on his arm. Now he floats on his back, arms spread wide. Just peaceful.

Heh. Yeah. Yin's walking a little funny, too. But some kinds of bruising are better than others.

She has to smile a little when she sees him. Aww. How cute. Well...she doesn't want to be the creepy puppy dog chick you sleep with once and then can't ever get a moment's peace from. Thus, she doesn't head outside. Ponders what to do. Bored bored. Considers making the wyvern breakfast. The thought makes her smile a little, until she realizes what it looks like. Will that seem too much like she's just trying to get into his good graces, just doing the spy thing?

Finally tries to shake this out of her head. Fuck it. She's not. And almost anything she does can be construed that way, short of being distant or bitchy.

God she hates this profession sometimes.

Thus, in not very much time at all, there's a startlingly competent omlette, considering that she doesn't eat, sitting on the kitchen counter, a couple of pans in the sink, and a vampiress simply situated in the living room with some reading material.

Revilier comes in a while later, wrapped only in his towel. He'd rather walk around without it - after all, Yin has seen his nudity already - but decides that it ought to be something special to share with her.

"Hello again," he greets her, heading straight for the closet to search for something to wear that isn't mesh. Pauses. Sniffs the air. "You cooked?"

"Mm-hm. Some breakfast waiting for you on the counter." She grins a little, and turns a page. "I was bored. And it was either that or fashion makeshift explosive devices out of the stuff under the sink."

"Just so long as you didn't combine the two," the wyvern notes. "I'll be right back. Clothes, and..." by then, he's peeking into the closet. Pulls out a schoolboy outfit. Holds it up for Yin to see. "Is this me?"

One of her pale eyebrows arches, and she can't suppress a little bursting snicker. "I don't know, is it?" Smirks, and looks back down to her magazine. "It is out of the closet." Whistles innocently.

"I would be, too, if I wore this." He hangs it back up. Pulls out a pair of black slacks and a white t-shirt with some sort of band's logo on it. He dresses where he stands, shirt first. She's not looking. Is she? He's showing off too much and knows it. "So what are you reading?"

"The drivel that was on top of the pile of drivel." She grins, looking back over her shoulder a moment. "It guarantees me a perfect tan in five days!"

He glances at her. "Only if you like turning orange. It's body paint, I swear." Dressed, Revilier moves to the kitchen and looks to the food. Poison? Possibly. Does he trust her enough to risk it? Of course. If she had meant to harm him, she would've done it last night.

"Are you hungry, at all?" he asks as he sits, snagging a fork from a convenient drawer. What does he know about vampires?

"Nah...I'm fine, but thank you." Yin smiles at him. "Between biting you at the tower and some from storage--not to mention a bit last night--I'm set for awhile."

"I'm glad, because there's not a drop of blood in storage here." Revilier eats quietly, smiling at her now and again. "God," he chuckles at one point, "you're good at this breakfast thing."

She grins, and winks. "Hey, just because I have no stomach doesn't mean I can't be taught. You'll have to keep me posted on my cooking, though. I'm told I sometimes put too much hot sauce into things." She snickers at a related memory.

"I'll let you know," he grins. "I like hot sauce." Finishes quickly... a soldier, after all. "Thank you for this, Yin. So..." he snickers a little bit. "What do we do while we're stuck in here?"

"That is an excellent question. I still vote for improvising explosives. It's more interesting than this." She tosses the Seventeen back onto the table. Stands up, yawns and stretches. "It's kind of a weird feeling. I mean, I still want to figure out what makes this anklet tick, since not being able to get out of here in an emergency bothers me. I could try to figure out a way to get ahold of Kaz or someone. Or I could admit to myself that even if I did, there's not a damned thing I can do about anything at this point in time." Quirky smile. "While I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, my work is my whole life, and I have no idea what to do with myself right now."

"You're telling me." He grins. "In a way, it's nice. I'm sure the novelty of not having a nation to run or protect will wear off soon. But right now," he grins. "Game room. Do you play pool?"

"Enough to know the rules and get people to feel sorry for me for how bad I am," she purrs. Grins. "But then, there's a solid chance I'll have plenty of time to practice for awhile. Shall we, then?"

He nods. "Certainly!" And heads that way. Oh, yeah. They're gonna run through things to do in a hurry. "Did you have a good talk with your contact?"

"It was a different contact than before. She's nicer. Which always makes me uneasy, because nice people are more often conning you than obvious asses." She smiles sheepishly. "I didn't get to ask a couple of things I wanted; she seemed like she was in a hurry towards the end. Wanted to check something the guy last night told me, and also ask about Prata."

Revilier racks the balls, and tosses Yin a cue. All this stuff is brand new, which is good for pool... no nicks on the table. "Did she tell you if Prata's okay...?"

She shakes her head. "No, I mean...had to cut off before I got the chance to ask." She catches the cue. "I'm sure she is, though. I mean, capturing and interrogating spies is one thing, but Prata's nobility. Whole new program. I'm amazed that she's even in a normal prison. I'm sure she's okay, and I'll be sure to ask and see if anything can be done next call."

He nods, expression far away for a second. "Thank you. Do you, ah, wanna break?"

"Can you?" She smiles sheepishly. "When I say I'm bad at this game, I mean I'm really bad at this game."

Revilier takes the cue. Smiles a little, and lines up a shot. Okay... no pressure. Just don't make yourself look foolish, and...

The house phone rings, causing him to miss the cue completely.

"Oh, crap. What now?" Yin sighs. For all that she's complaining about boredom..she doesn't want any excitement just yet. She pretends she didn't see the wyvern's whiff, and heads over to pick up the phone. "Yeah?"

"Hello, Ellen. Put the phone on speaker."

Adelisa's calm, overtly flirty voice pours into Yin's ear through the telephone.

Yin stiffens. Glances meaningfully back to Revilier, and then back to the phone. Hits the button. "Done."

The wyvern pays close attention at that glance.

"Shacking up together already. God, Yin, I thought you were better than that. What's Arux going to think?" Adelisa's purr, much unlike the sweetness of before, drips venom and oil and wickedness. Revilier goes a little bit white.

"You almost certainly know why, Adelisa, and I have trouble believing that you called just to harass me."

"That's because you're smart. I do respect you, don't get me wrong. His charms are impossible to put aside. Resist, perhaps, but they eat at you, choke your heart until you can't breathe without his say so. Right, Father?"

Revilier glowers at the phone.

"It took you long enough to turn on me," he grumbles.

"Good timing though, eh? Speaking of which, I'm willing to make a deal with you. I've got Prata locked away in a Dragon jail, daddums. She doesn't need to see me kill you. If you give me the Golden power, I'll let her out, and let you leave the continent outside of a pine box. You aren't the only one who deserves that power!"

Yin's fangs turn to a snarl. "So, Adelisa, how many people's minds have you fried in the last twenty-four hours?" She's already dialed her dragon contact and holding it to the speaker.

"Almost all of them. And they make such lovely puppets. Shem and Jasne are the finest of them."

The ex-general's mouth drops open. "You didn't...!?"

Yin's jaw also drops without her direct consent. Her vampiric complexion gaves several shades of white. Any glibness...just...gone. "Adelisa...you bitch! You didn't... you.... your own kids...?!"

"They'll be fine. Don't you see? They no longer have the burden of making decisions for themselves. They're stronger than ever, faster. They're no longer Revilier's children. They're no longer inbred spawn! That is the greatest gift I could ever give them, as their mother."

Revilier looks at Yin. Wide-eyed, completely at a loss. He mouths the words "She's lost her mind" to Yin.

Yin glances to him. Can only nod, dry-mouthed. Closes her eyes. Collects herself...almost completely. That's her job, after all. "But they're all just puppets. An army needs officers, and a good many of them. What on Earth could you expect to do with that many Golden? Isn't it a bit of overkill?"

"When I get the Golden power from Revilier, I can restore their minds. Then, they will have all the power of my tainted spell as well are their cognitive functions."

Revilier almost shouts at the telephone. "It doesn't work like that, Adelisa! I tried to restore your Golden, it just doesn't work!"

"that's because it wasn't you who made them. But I don't really care what you think, either of you. I want the spell."

"This is a good way to get the entire planet's gun's pointed at you, Adelisa," Yin cautions, trying not to snarl. "Besides, what's your dad supposed to do about it? We physically can't leave the premesis."

"You let me worry about that. I'm his daughter, after all. I'm not without my wiles. Right, Kaz?"

A moment later, a muffled, angry Menayen's voice floods over the speaker. "... in every whore hole in your slut body! Dumbass I swear to god I'll..."

Fangs out. Shit! Another wildcard down. "And he sounds thrilled," she observes dully. Damnit, damnit, damnit. Feels her back edging closer and closer to the proverbial corner.

"Fine," Revilier growls at last, knuckles white from the pressure in his fists. "Fine. I'll give it to you, but I need proof that Prata is free and Kaz is safe." The last he asks for Yin's sake. "Come alone. No help. No tricks. Alright?" He looks to Yin. "There's no other source of my spell. You don't want to screw it up." If Yin has any ideas, any tricks up her sleeve, this is a good time to set them up.

"Cards are yours, I'll concede that," Yin murmurs. "Where did you want to meet, Adelisa?"

"Secret."

The center of the billiard table yawns open, blue light swirling all around it. One of Menayen's portals opens, leading to God knows where.

Yin stiffens. Fuck! There goes every contingency that she has. Even with Herbert listening to the conversation--hopefully--and even with GPS in the phone...there's no way that they could get backup any distance at all, fast enough...let alone organized or particularly good backup. "Heh...portal in the pool table. There's something you don't see every day." This for the sake of Herbert.

Pauses. Looks to Revilier, somber. What does he want to do?

He pauses a second. Looks to Yin, and turns his eyes to the pool balls, still sitting in a neat little rack. Looks to the portal. Pool balls, portal. Yin.

She meets his gaze a moment, then looks down to the pool balls. Takes three out and sets them aside, and then shoves the rack in a roll towards the swirling light.

The balls vanish, of course. Several long seconds later the sound of pool balls cracking against concrete and echoing sounds over the phone. Revilier glances at a Yin.

"Sounds like a long drop," he mouths to Yin. "A setup?"

She nods. Lip-reading is a pretty primary spy-bitch skill. Now that she knows that Adelisa almost certainly isn't in earshot of soft voices through the portal--if voices even carry through the portal--her finger finds the mute button of the phone. "Setup. Herbert, are you getting this and what the hell are you guys doing if so?" she notes softly into the other phone.

"Getting this. I'm looking at satellite maps, trying to figure out where the transmission's coming from... looks like a warehouse outside of Julen City... I'm notifying Arux and sending a recording of the call to my bosses."

"Warehouse...probably full of snipers. Lovely," Yin sighs. Damnit. Julen's solidly wyvern controlled...Dragon troop support is there, but quiet. "How quickly could you have people there?"

Un-mutes. "That was a long drop, Adelisa," she observes.

Mutes.

"It'll take time. Probably twenty minutes at least."

"Not long enough to kill you," Adelisa purrs, "maybe just break your legs. Stop stalling."

"Fuck you, Adelisa. Stepping into an obvious trap is one thing. Stepping into one that's already been proven an immediate physical threat is quite another. We will meet you, under our own power, in the closed Terivex warehouse on the south side. Our transit time will be quite long enough for you to put all your little pawns back in place." She'd done her homework looking for that egg, all those months ago, and seriously doubts that this would have been Adelisa's warehouse of choice.

"... fine. I'll bring Kaz along, and you can have him when the spell is mine. Ta."

The line goes dead. The portal vanishes.

Revilier quietly lays his pool cue on the table. Looks at Yin. "If she knows you have the spell, you'll be at risk," he says. Doesn't know what else to, really. 'Stay out of it' would be foolish. He knows Dragon pride well, and Yin would likely tell him to go straight to hell.

Oh, he's quite right on that. "We'll call it a wildcard. I only just 'learned' it and don't yet use it reflexively, so there's not too much chance of my giving it away accidentally." She gazes thoughtfully at the ground. Is silent. Finally, at long last, lifts the cell phone back to her ear. "Herbert. I'm not in a situation where I can sneak out in do this. Well. I was. But just let it pass. Please let me be involved with this. I don't know who you need to clear it with. But let me, and let Eleven, handle the field part of this. I know they can pull it off."

"She's liable to expect you, anyway. I'll get it cleared. I can't be there in person to help you - you can't meet me until you're reinstated anyway - but consider yourself a volunteer. Besides, could I really stop you if you were dedicated, without causing an international incident? I'll send a pickup for you and for Revilier, but you'll understand if he's kept in chains."

Yin blinks. "What, I'm not going to be?"

"You're aware that you completed your assigned task with practically unthinkable efficiency, aren't you? Jesus H. Christ, Yin, but you got the info out of him and exposed Adelisa for a monster and discovered a plot against Spiders and... all in one damn day." A pause. "You remember the agreement, don't you?"

This gets a slight eyebrow raise. "I remember a spy-ishly vague mix of threats, blackmail, guilting, and hints at possible reinstatement." "Yin"...? Promising.

"Eleven will bring your armor. Welcome back."

Yin's lips twitch towards a smile. Closes her eyes a moment. It's a solid mix of feelings...which surprises her. Shouldn't she just be overjoyed? "Thanks, Herbert. That all?"

"Nope. You'll have to tell Revilier he'll need to be chained up."

"Right. Talk to you later." Hangs up. Lets out her breath, and looks up to the wyvern. "We've got transportation and some very competent special ops support. They're going to have you chained up, but...I'll pick the locks as soon as we're in transit." Smiles a bit. Doesn't hold, it, really. He had just found out that the only kids he'd thought were okay were just...yeah.

True. But Revilier Omeaux is and always has been a soldier, taught through experience that a fallen comrade cannot weigh on the mind.

"You'd better not," he shrugs, "I don't want to worry the Dragons. And... that seemed painless." Rolls one of the remaining balls. "Adelisa has proved more clever than I've ever known her to be. I've got a strange feeling that she's got smarter help. We'll have to keep our eyes open for tricks."

Yin nods. "Taking down Kaz so quickly was impressive...I don't feel safe venturing a guess as to whether that's in her capability or not. But you certainly do." Feels a little weak at all this, just...thoroughly overwhelmed. Sits down on the couch. "Do you have any guesses as to who it could be?"

"It would have to be someone from the outside." Revilier walks towards her, and sits next to her, seeing the hint of vulnerability that says Yin is seriously off her game. Moves to put his arm around her.

She smiles at him a bit. Feels silly, and weak. But is grateful. "Narrows it down." Nods. "Any candidates in particular?"

"I'm worried about Mediators, honestly. They did attack Prata, and are responsible, I assume, for her ending up in jail. Do you suppose they're manipulating this?" Revilier holds her, not too insistently, and would never admit to her that he needs it as bad as she does, if not worse.

"It's very possible," Yin agrees after a moment's thought, nodding slowly. "They're exceedingly hard to keep track of as individuals; no group in the world is better at covert operations. Hell, they've infiltrated private flights I've been on successfully. The only reason we caught them is that Troix can see them, somehow." She shakes her head. Leans against the wyvern, wrapping her arms around one of his. A five star general will keep it together. But he's got to need a hug.

Of course he does. He's just incapable of asking for one. Leans against Yin, looking down at the ground. Quiet.

Yin's quiet a bit. Finally looks up to the wyvern. "There's something I should tell you. Trusting you to please not repeat it."

This, of course, gets his attention. He smiles at her a little bit. "If you can trust me to hear it, you can trust me to keep it quiet."

She smiles at him, then settles back in as she was, gazing off at a painting reproduction on the wall. "It's' about last night." A pause. Considering. "Arux Fiexnah, Unit Eleven's commander and my partner of twenty years...your daughters both think he and I are lovers. Alou thinks that. Everyone who knows us thinks that, really." Lips twitch towards a smile. "And I do love him, deeply. There's literally no one on this planet that I'm closer to, who I know better or who knows me better." Looks up at the wyvern. "It's a small conspiracy. Subterfuge, as you've observed we're so fond of. He's my dearest friend. And we've been working together for a very long time, putting on appearances to remove any suspicion that he's gayer than a Catholic choir director." Lips twitch towards amusement. "It's a very serious taboo in Draconic society, has been for as much as a couple millenia or so. His orientation would have kept him from climbing the ranks as he has; he'd never be where he is today if they knew. So we encourage rumour to run rampant and keep that from happening." Looks back up to Revilier. "I just...thought you should know that."

"I did know that, actually." Revilier smiles a little bit at her, too.

She blinks. Twice. "Say what?"

"Gaydar." He winks. "C'mon, Yin. If he'd been your lover, he would have spearheaded an assault to get you back, not Kaz. They would have had to lash him to a post to keep him from coming for you, reason be damned."

She smirks. "Well, at least he shot Brandt. It's true that that was mission-useful, but...he probably wouldn't have used lethal force had I not mentioned two minutes before that the bastard beat me with a whip." She would purr, if she could. "If he weren't gay, I'm messed up enough from this business to call that romantic." Laughs softly. Settles in against the wyvern. It may be their last chance to do it...possibly ever. She likes him. But an affair doesn't mean it was ever meant to last beyond one night. Heck, he may not even want that, she doesn't know. But feels better now that her seeming disloyalty isn't hanging in the air.

Revilier's arms wrap around her shoulders. He kisses her hair, can't really stop himself. "Brandt was gonna get shot eventually," he muses, not letting go. He's made up his mind. If they don't execute him, or something equally vile, he's going to pursue Yin. That much he'd decided when she thanked him for staying with her.

She warms a bit at the kiss, smiling despite everything. Well. At least if it's a one-night stand...she feels loved and protected throughout it. "Yeah." Just stays. Is quiet a bit. Looks up at him. "I was reinstated."

His eyes close. "Does that..." he whispers, holding her just a little tighter, "does that make us enemies again...?"

Her eyes close a moment, then open to look up at him, intrigued and almost hopeful at the reaction. "I don't know." She leans her head on his shoulder. "I don't think so. And certainly not right now." Tries to smile. Only manages for a second. "Honestly...I don't know how I feel about it. I've had a lot of time to think in the last few months. I don't know if I want to even be in this business anymore. I'm tired of spending every second of every day lying and using people and being used. Having to keep my guard up every second of the day. Hell, I've spent my entire adult life risking my right to breathe trying to defend dragonkind, honest-to-gods having my vows at the center of everything I do. And in thanks, I was raked over the coals, had every aspect of my life publically ripped open in ridiculed, culminating in a verbatim statement that I hadn't really done anything wrong, but that dragoons and my entire life's work were worthless and incompetent." A true, crackling growl--a dragon's, nothing that a vampire is capable of--actually rumbles softly in the back of her throat before she consciously ceases it. Looks down. Quiet a moment.

"Heh. I'm sorry. That's just whining. I have the deepest respect from the Draconic High Council and high Draconic military authority, I really do. But we hear from them so infrequently...it's hard to keep that in mind. Only the minority of lower authority figures have any respect for dragoons anymore. This is becoming more and more a human's world, and dragoons are increasingly important in response. But they don't see that. Dragoons have always been second-class citizens, and we accept that...but there was always respect there, and that's just not true anymore. And I don't understand why."

A pause. "Heh...wow. That was quiet the rant. I'm sorry." Leans her head on his shoulder again. "To be relevant...I'm not really sure what I want to do. I'm not sure I want to stay in this business, no. But I do miss my unit. They're my family. And for all of its problems, I love some parts of this life and don't know if I could really be happy without them. In any case...even if I don't want to stay, at least I can go out with an honorable discharge. I get to keep my name. And they won't cut off my horns. So it's nice to have options again."

So she doesn't know, bottom line. "You've done enough that you deserve to choose where you go. Soldiers have that right." Kisses her hair again. "I know we've only known each other for a short while. And I don't know what it means to you. But whatever you choose sounds good to me, even if it means we end fighting again. As long as it's your choice."

"Thank you." Stays right where she is. "And for now...it's a good thing. Because I like you, and now I can take back command of my unit." She smiles. "They're damned good. If anyone can get your kids back...we've got exactly the right people to do it." Squeezes his wrist a little.

"It doesn't matter," he sighs, "the spell won't restore Jasne and Shem. Adelisa doesn't get it. I don't know of anything that's been proven to undo those effects." He hugs her then, emphatically, urgently.

Yin turns a big to wrap her arms around him, heart going out to him. "There's got to be a way," she finally murmurs. "And if it takes a week or a decade, I'll help you find it. Okay?" Kisses his cheek, and just holds him.

He nods. A decade. Hugs her a little more tightly.

"How long do we have, Yin...?"

"Until what?"

"Until we leave for Julen." He looks into her eyes. He doesn't want sex again, and hopes that's not what she's thinking. He just wants to kiss her, and hold her like he'll never get another chance.

"I'm not sure..." she admits, gazing up at him. "Herbert said she was sending some people over, but she also mentioned them bringing my armor, so...they'll be making at least one other stop first. At least a few minutes."

Revilier nods a little bit. "I want to kiss you, Yin. I know it's hokey to ask, but I... felt like I needed to, this time." Gazes at her, deeply into her eyes. "May I?"

Her cheeks warm a little bit. So does her heart. After a moment of a faint, genuine smile.... "Yeah. You may."

The wyvern doesn't waste any time. His hold on her shoulders tightens a little bit, and he guides her close enough for him to reach. His eyes never leave hers, not until his lips brush against her much cooler ones. Not until he's lost in her sweet softness again.

Yin's reaction...startles her. Her heart breaks just a little. Tears sparkle at the edges of her lashes, catching her completely off-guard...since when is she so sentimental about someone she barely knows? And yet it stings to wonder whether this is the last time...so much. Her kiss had started gentle, and quickly ends up more needy. At least in this moment, just...loves him. Just holds him close, without intention of letting him go.

He doesn't want her to see him vulnerable... and is secretly glad her eyes are closed. He can't get over the way they've come along in only a week... he'd captured her. Healed her. Kissed her, and given her a half-finished handjob. Then lost her, and felt like the ground had fallen away underneath him. Gave her his gift to make up for everything.... ended up here, in a safe house, and had given her his body and taken hers in return. And now he doesn't want to face the world outside for fear of losing her.

His kiss deepens to relieve her need with his own.

A kiss can only last so long. This one makes a sound effort to last longer, and then longer again. When it's finally time to break the embrace, Yin just lays her head on his chest, and stays. Doesn't try to make conversation or jokes or plans, for once. She simply...is. And savors being with him while she can.

A few hours later, a squad of police cars show up outside. A veritable army of cops proceed to the house three blocks down from the Omeaux safe house, and escort a planted 'witness' into custody.

In the meantime, a nondescript red car pulls into the driveway in front of Yin and Revilier's prison. The driver, a bright eyed, blue-haired and utterly tattooed Dragon girl honks the horn, and in that instant the anklets Yin and Revilier wear sizzle and go dead.

The dragon girl looks at Arux, in the passenger seat. "You can't tell her who I am, you know," she chirps. "I'm going to be working with Yin in the future, if this goes well. So if you tell her I'm Herbert, your ass is had, 'kay cutie?"

"Ass had in the bad way, check," Arux smirks.

Yin glances out the window, then down to her anklet when it audibly fizzes. "That works. Shall we?"

Revilier nods a bit. He looks at her, but his eyes are far away.

Outside, the Dragon woman climbs out of her car and leans against the door. She's dressed in a conservative black pants suit, very modern career woman stereotype. She's even got a tie.

"I want you to handle Revilier. He sits in the back, in chains, and you'll have a sedative. He moves in a way you don't like, stick that thing in his neck and don't be afraid to. In fact, it might be a good idea to do it immediately. What do you think?"

"Let's wait to see how Yin's interacting with him. If she has a useful rapport, preemptively knocking him out might jeopardize it." All told, he's anxious as hell to see his ex--and maybe, soon, again--partner. The last he'd heard from her her, they had been attacked, she had a bullet in her back, and then the planted wire went dead after the beginning of an explosion. It had been a torturous hour and ten minutes before even finding out that she was alive, and he hasn't gotten to speak to her since then. "If he or the situation gives me reason to put him out, I will." He steps out of the car as well.

"You okay...?" Yin takes the wyvern's hand gently a moment, out of sight of the window.

"Yin. If your cover story is that you and Arux are lovers, you and I can't give them any reason to think we've been together." He squeezes her hand anyway, and pulls it up to his lips to kiss it. "You have to treat me like an enemy prisoner."

She starts to smile at the kiss--chivalry isn't dead, she'd forgotten that--but it fades too quickly. She hesitates, and nods a little, quite despite her wishes. Pragmatism...they are both military. "For now," she clarifies. "And there's nothing wrong with having a decent rapport with a prisoner. That much stands to reason...after all, we're a wyvern and a dragoon and didn't kill each other in the last twenty-four hours." Smiles a bit. It feels false. Damnit. "Ready?"

"Of course." Revilier tugs his hand away from hers, not smiling at all, and heads for the door.

"You've never met Revilier have you Arux?" The blue-haired dragon asks as they wait. "Oh, there they are!"

"No, I haven't." The dragoon commander has to smile a bit at Yin...and at a very characteristic slight squint when walking out into bright sunlight the poor thing's just never gotten over. It's fun to recognize the quirks of people you know.

Yin, for her part, walks quietly behind the wyvern general, of course...he's covered from the front, so she's got this side. Does smile a bit at Arux, though she says nothing.

Revilier walks with a sort of defeated dignity, head held high, staring forward at nothing in particular. So that's Arux.

Odd, he doesn't look like a faggot. But I suppose the facade must be complete.

The blue haired dragon steps forward, smiling a bright and chipper smile. "Yin," she greets her in a voice that is not the same she used on the phone. "We haven't met. Major Chao Lia." She gives a quick, formal salute. "Welcome back."

Eh. Manly men can love ass, too. Bottoms need to get their tops from somehere.

Yin returns it with a slightly different salute. Dragoons salute one another with the same motion Chao Lia's employing, but dragons merit a variation, one of thousands of daily reminders of the class difference between them. "A pleasure, Major Chao Lia." Looks to Arux. Pauses. "You. Forgot to wash your hair."

The human smirks. "Missed you, too, Captain dear."

Chao Lia glances between the two of them, and then at REvilier, and decides that well enough is enough. "We have a flight to catch in fifteen minutes. First, though, we need to get our guest in shackles."

The device that Chao Lia produces from the trunk of the car is something straight out of a Hannibal Lecter movie. It's almost like a mini asylum, with a straight jacket, snaps and clasps, locks, and a even a bite mask built into a polymer suit.

"Please dress him accordingly," she cheerfully chirps, handing the thing off to Arux.

The look Revilier casts him says only one, unmistakable thing.

If you want to keep your hands, you'll keep them away from me.

The dragoon groans inwardly. Takes them of course. But wonders how this is going to go down. Probably not prettily...dragon pride is bad, yes, but the pride of any high-ranking military officer on the planet--not to mention one who could normally kick his ass ten times over--will not do well with this.

Yin, for her part, is agape. "Hey, hold on. Overkill much? We're talking about a captured national leader, not a serial psychotic necrophiliac cannibal."

"We're talking about a deposed tyrant who may just as well have set all of this up," Chao Lia smiles, eyes closed. "This is for my protection. Honestly, I like my head where it is. Also, I don't want the higher ups to think that we're just trusting our enemies on the fly these days. It'll send a very strong message as to our level of control with the situation."

Revilier folds his arms. "You'll put that suit on me at your peril. I won't fight or cause you trouble with my children's lives involved with this."

"It will send a very strong message that we have no interest in foreign relations," Yin fires back almost as quickly. "Please reconsider, Major Chao Lia." Arguing with a dragon. Great. This is not an auspicious start to being a dragoon again.

"Herbert" just smiles a crooked, knowing little smile. Nothing Yin can say will change her opinion of her-- in a very short time she's come to know her body of work intimately, and has nothing but respect for her. She, unlike some dragons, knows the pitfalls of humanity.

"If you think he'll be fine, then..." she nods her head towards the car. "At least cuff his hands. Omeaux and Eleven ride in the back. Captain Iejir, drive. Oh, and Arux..." she looks to the trunk again, hands on her hips. "Get the Captain's uniform out of the case in the trunk, please."

Yin lets out her breath...lips twitch slightly towards smirk, but she bows respectfully. "Thank you, Major Chao Lia." Takes the cuffs from Arux, though, and moves to bind Revilier's hands herself. Considering the alternative, it doesn't seem as bad as it had a moment ago.

Revilier scowls, but lifts his hands to be bound anyway. When Arux and Chao Lia are turned, as Yin is binding him, he swiftly and gently strokes her hand with the side of his thumb, smiling at her with his eyes for a bare moment.

She almost smiles quite despite herself, glancing up to his eyes for that second. Eyes warm a moment, and then it's gone. Most welcome. Slides the cuffs to the recommended "tight but not damaging" level, and just guides the wyvern general to the recommended part of the car, hand setting to the top of his head so that he doesn't hit it, as per procedure.

Revilier sits, of course. Stares forward, a stone-cold general again.

"Arux, are you dragging your heels for a reason, soldier?" Chao Lia snaps, but it's more of an amused sort of snap. "Or can't you lift that metal monstrosity she calls a uniform?"

"You make it sound like I designed it," Yin smirks a little. Okay, so she's always adored her armour--it had been a gift from superiors, but a very well-researched one--but, like most dragoons' armor, the whole suit together is really only really suited for a true, traditional battlefield or ceremonial use. Still...she hadn't thought she'd be able to wear it again.

Arux smirks a bit as he sets the crate at her feet. "May want to wait, anyway...most of it's not really suited to car travel."

"Point. Okay." Chao Lia hops into the passenger seat. It's a comfy sedan, really, nothing too fancy. "AC. Let's go!"

Yin has to chuckle softly as she seats herself and Arux situates the box as best he can, not wasting time when the car shouldnt' be seen long. "Oh, thank god. For once my superior is actually going to agree with me on the temperature setting." AC in mid-fall! Yay!

"Which base are we headed to, Major Chao Lia?" Yin inquires as she starts the car.

"Head south for six blocks, and turn the car into the autobody shop with the devil on the sign," Chao Lia smiles and nods. "Secret hangars make me tingle with excitement."

The white-haired dragoon nods, and they're headed in that way momentarily, glancing at the mirrors behind. Arux is quiet. Keeping eyeless attention on Revilier, of course, but...hm. Is interested in how Yin had interacted with him, though he won't say why. The girl to the general's other side is simply dead silent--seems to be a girl, anyway, though otherswise isn't entirely out of the question, as her chest appears bound by some armour or other system under her shirt, her face is masked from the nose down in what's obviously no temporary disguise, and her Egyptian-esque, fedora-meets-Horus helmet largely obstructs her eyes from above. She glances up to the wyvern's face once, rusty orange-eyed gaze holding a moment, and then simply looks forward again.

Devil...no snipers or such nastiness yet. Yay.

Revilier flashes her a dignified sort of smile, just a brief one. He's still in control, as far as anyone knows. Aside from the manacles.

"Okay, turn here," Chao Lia points. When the car comes to a stop on the parking pad inside the garage, the door to its rear grumbles shut. Almost immediately the car begins to sink, lowering on an elevator much like the one at Tarantella.

"There," the major points as an enormous supersonic airplane hangar looms before them, "is our ride."

Yin raises an eyebrow. "To quote a friend: 'some pure James Bond shit here.'"

"Says the plainclothes spy walking around in broad daylight," Chao Lia chuckles. "Okay. We'll reach the warehouse in about two hours, with prep time. When we get on the plane, Revilier here will be placed in a secure chamber and put under guard." She glances at him. "Very competent guard, so don't get any ideas. Yin, you'll be supplied with weaponry and such for the negotiations with Adelisa. Now. Kill her if you get a chance to do so without risking your life."

Yin nods a little at this. Inwardly, she cringes. "Yes, ma'am."

Revilier doesn't even flinch. Inwardly, he wants Chao Lia's head.

The plane itself is a sizable one, oddly large for such a well-hidden hangar. Various crews, of course, scurry around to make certain everything is ready -- most are aware that something serious is going down, but have no real details on the matter. A set of rolling stairs is their route into the vehicle.

The girl who had been beside Revilier, for her part, slips off quietly. She's the "informed" peg, mission control and the only one who has a good enough idea of what's going on to be able to spot every possible "wrong."

"Who's going to be guarding Revilier?" Yin inquires as she steps out and Arux hands over her armour, opening the box to check whether he'd brought the undersuit. Ah. He's good, yes.
