Appearance: Short, darkish red hair with plenty of freckles, a well-defined cheek and a noble's nose. She's in good shape, with just a bit of belly, because of all the walking and climbing she does for her job. She tends to dress in shades of green, brown, and beige, and can always be found wearing her glasses and carrying around a walking staff.

Weapons / Skills: Qiao Mun isn't much of a fighter, but due to the elemental blood that flows in her veins she is quite strong and possesses admirable regenerative talents. In addition, she keeps a very close commune with the land, and can often be helped out of a scrap by the earth itself. She has an intricate knowledge of geology and biology, and can, to a small extent, communicate with animals.

History: Twenty six years ago a certain scientist happened upon a forest nymph, and captured her for study. She begged and pled for her life, and her cries appealed to his kind side enough that he did let her loose... on the condition that she return every so often to talk with him about herself. During these visits they became very close, and, long story short, bore a child. Oddly enough, the child, a male, seemed completely human and lived a completely normal human life. When he finally took a wife, and sired a child, that child was born with green skin.
After a few minutes of screaming, it came to light that the girl's grandmother was a forest nymph. Once everyone had been calmed, sedated, and otherwise dealt with, the child was hidden away to live a reclusive, safe life amongst her family. 

When the child, who was named Mun (the grandmother's misspelling of 'moon'), blossomed into womanhood, her skin inexplicably faded into a flesh tone. She was kept in the forest a while longer, and when her skin did not become green again, the family moved back into the city.

Time passed, and Qiao Mun's fascination with the land grew by the day. So it was that she apprenticed to an Earth Sorcerer, and discovered that, though she had a keen intellect, her magical talent was absolutely nil. Ever since she has been working as a Geological Surveyor, continuing her communion with the land and searching for the Terran magic that is her birthright.

Personality: Qiao Mun is a tomboy by nature but an academic by profession. As such she can be somewhat confused about the way she ought to carry herself, and as a result is not good at socializing. She's clumsy to a fault, having once brought an entire building down by accidentally sitting upon a table with one faulty leg, a table which happened to have TNT sitting upon the edge, which happened to be rather close to a candle... and so forth. She's usually sweet, if a little misguided, and absolutely loves her work.

Quirks: Qiao Mun can't swim, and is afraid of water. Fish puzzle her, though she has managed to communicate with some of the more intelligent aquatic life forms. She is absolutey fixated with keeping her skin clean, perhaps because she fears it will turn green again, and has been known to carry an extra five to ten pounds in her pack on a dig, weight that consists of nothing but clean washcloths and such.
