Something I wrote to help me focus my priorities and encourage me not to give up. Another rhimy thing free for all.


Why try?


Why try? Why effort yourself?
Why spend time on it? Take the books out of the shelf?
Why carry on and persist even more?
Why not just desist, live with failure, simply exist?
The answer is simple, because you wanna succeed.
Because you wanna exceed in everything
You wanna be the best, so don’t put your effort to rest.
Try and try and try again, if you fail, listen to what was said!
Try again, harder, better, give it more than you gave before!
Push it, run it, feel it, reach for it.
You were not delivered upon this world in failure
And thus you cannot leave it in failure!
Walk the distance, try to fly, taste victory,
just an extra mile…
Not because it’s easy or your destiny
Cuz that ain’t true!
it's simply because it’s a possibility.
Greatness is waiting for you, for everyone who can see
That all they have to do is try hard enough.
It’s not that hard, not that difficult, not that tough,
You just need to give one extra shove...
I can’t make no fancy phrase, no wonderfull verse or catchy line
That’ll touch you deep inside.
Because it all sums up to your effort,
To how many of your limitations you can overcome.
Keep trying, harder and harder, eventually, it will come!
Never give up, never surrender.
