“Morning you three”, Cheryza said smiling and then came to hug everyone of us, one by one.
“Hello Cheryza and Manye! Long time no see”, I said and nodded. I had missed them. All of them.
Goddess Xewatha of ice had came to me in a dream a week ago. She had told me that gods needed us and that they were gathering our old gang back up. Then she told me to go to the world ruled be goddess Xirantha of water, to the kingdom of Reygash and then head to the capital. While I was on my way there, I met Fien of spirits and Resh of air. So, we continued our journey with the three of us. And now, we had found the rest.
“So, everyone’s already here?” I asked, interrupting the conversation between the others.
“Actually that’s incorrect”, Manye said and looked a little worried. “Naydan is still missing.”
Naydan. Red-haired cheery girl with flaming character. I liked her, but not so much about fire, her element. But that’s because my element is ice. And fire and ice are not very good combination.
Manye still looked a bit worried.
“Manye, don’t you worry. Naydan is probably just fine... You know her... And her sense of direction.”
“Yea, Leisha is right”, Resh agreed. “She’ll find us soon.”
Manye smiled.
Something happened what we did not expect. It felt like an earthquake would suddenly come. And then, the outlines of the world fade away. I couldn’t see the others, but I sensed they were there. By my side.
And then we were there. All of us. Ten of us.
We were in Welani, in the place where all gods dwell. We were in the centre of the whole universe.
We were standing in a circle, the gods we represented were standing behind us. And in the middle of the circle was standing Xolethane, leader and eldest of the gods.
“Oy, Naydan! Where have you been?” Wyn broke the silence.
“Xebiatha just told me, I’m less than hundred metres from you guys... My camp is just on the wrong side of river.”
We laughed, but that was not mean laugh. We laughed because we all knew how typical that was. How typical for Naydan.
I let my gaze to travel. There was Xalitha, who had green eyes and long blond hair. In front of her was standing Cheryza, her orange eyes gleaming. Next to Xalitha, was standing her dark-haired brother Xenath. And Nela was standing in front of him. Then came Xorath, who had long light blue hair and Resh was standing in front of him. Xebiatha had deep red hair, just like Naydan, who was standing in front of her. Xirantha had long, greenish-blue hair and eyes. Dark-haired Saline was in front of her. Xilath had also long hair, but his hair was sand-coloured. Tall, brown-haired Gab was standing in front of him. Xudath had yellowish eyes and purple hair. Fiens blond hair also seemed to be purplish in this kind of enlightenment. Xocithas hair was dark-green and she had exactly same gentle smile than Manye had. Xewatha had spooky eyes, they were all white. It was me who was standing in front of her. And on our side were Xath and Wyn.
“Now will you finally tell us, what’s going on?” it was Cheryza. She had nerve to ask the question, since before our group has even formed for the first time, she had been visiting Welani for several times. Also, she was the eldest of us ten, just like Xalitha is eldest, unless Xolethane isn’t count, of course.
Xolethane laughed.
“Yes, now you will finally find out why the group has been reformed. You see... We have decided to unite our powers.”
“And by that, oh Eldest, you mean..?” Nela asked.
“A new world will be created. And we all are going to create it together.”
“That sounds nice. How are we involved with this?” it was Saline of water who spoke.
“Actually, we’re not so sure. But we’ve bee told that we’ll need you once the world has been created”, Xalitha said, frowning.
“Oh, not those guys again..:” Cheryza sighed.
“Yes, those guys again”, her goddess replied to her.
“Destiny and Coincidence?” Nela guessed.
“Yes”, Xolethane nodded.
Spiritresses.. Of course they had their hands in this mess.
“We’ll call you again when we have finished with creating. Until then, please stay on that camp of yours.”
“Yes, Xolethane”, we all replied and bowed. Then the world started to fade away again.
