Note: I'm just going to post this here, since it's short. This was written when I was a wee little girl (about 12), and I believe it is my first poem that wasn't fantasy based. I found this and edited it. I am... somewhat satisfied with the outcome. It is 'penetrating'.
I will hide in my little dark world,
Where hides my little dark town.
And on my little dark street,
I hide in my little dark house,
In my little dark room,
Within my little dark bed.
There, I will rest my little dark soul,
Because I will hide in my little dark head.
And there, I will be away from your dark stare,
That makes a dark world,
A little darker.
