Always In Dark

Tension mounts
The crowd thickens
Bright lights blinding
Lost in a sea of faces

Silence
The lights go out
Fog rolls toward me
A sudden thump

Music blares
In the dark a release
Faces dissapear
Lost in a beat so deep

Swaying to the song
Losing control
Forgetting for the moment
That I am not alone

Nothing that worries
Only that steady
Endless pounding
Coursing deep within my soul

What a Waste

Do you know this taste?
This craving
Do you want to?
Follow me into the dark

Can you handle it?
Tast the blood
What's wrong, don't like it?
Feels heavy, metallic

Not so thrilling?
Causing death
Taking life not for you?
Too late now, don't run

Where are you going?
No where to hide
You don't think I'll take you?
I will taste you

You weren't expecting this?
You tease
Don't want the gift?
Then your life is mine

Why do you have to run?
It just makes things worse
Do you like making me mad?
Oh...you skinned your knee

Want me to kiss it?
Oh come on, just a little
Want to scream?
Can't breath though

Where does it hurt?
Ah the neck
Can I feel your pulse against my lips?
Wow, blood makes such a mess

Morning Gods

Floating mist
Across the lake
An image of perfection
Closer to gods
Carried down on clouds
Sailing across the water
Placid in the early dawn
Glancing around
Birds cry out greetings
Rejoicing at the light
Golden rays peirce the trees
Alighting on the glossy surface
The gods say their farwells
Slowly carried high
Back to the clouds
Only to return with the mist
Come to roam the earth once more

Day Time Gods

Steam rises
Pavement hot and black
Can hardly see
Sweat rolls into eyes
A swaying figure
The gods have come
Fired down in a blaze of heat
Through rays of light
So bright they can't be clearly seen
With them is fire
Brimstone pours off
Dehidration follows
Death is a sweet release
Allow me ice
Bring on the rain
Anything but the eternal swelter
Night approaches
Sun sinks low
The haze clears
With the stars comes relief
The gods exit with the sun

All Like A Dream

Trying to remember
Focusing all my strength
On the smallest detail
Frustrated to tears
Trying so hard not to forget
To forget the way they look
Part of my world
Ripped away
I'm losing them fast
Forgetting the feeling
Each embrace
Every cuddle
All the smiles
Slipping into the fog
Away down the river
All Like a Dream

Next Please

Twisting
Turning
Are you learning?
Frolic
Play
I'm trick that way.
Melt
Decieve
What a twisted spell I weave.
Listen
Learn
Be aware that I burn.
Scream
Yell
I rule over hell.
Look
See
You'll never control me.
Stand
Run
I've had my fun.
Adios
Goodbye
All you know is a lie.

Day By Day

Day by day
Slipping away
Lost in the current
Adrift in the sway

Hour by hour
Life grows so sour
Losing to madness
Wilting like flowers

A rotting shell
Starting to swell
The heat of life
Giving decay smell

Every moments space
Losing every ounce of grace
Darkness closing in
Decorated with black lace

Icy grey cold
Replaces warm gold
Rosy cheeks
Turn pale and old

Seasons no longer matter
The icy blood spatter
Stains the sheets
One more day and shatter

Day by day
Slipping further away
Lost in the current
Adrift in the sway

Hour by hour
Life growing sour
Losing to madness
Dead like the flowers

The Aftermath Of War

Corpses litter the ground
Souls all hell bound
But among the death
There is life

A light in the dark
The song of a lark
The buzz of a bee
There is movement

The twitch of a hand
The grunt of a man
A cry of pain
There is sight

From the fog shapes apear
Night creatures start to clear
Daylight approches
There is repulsion

A wave of stench
Stomaches clench
They all apear dead
There is relief

Wives cry
Doves fly
Men are wounded, not gone
There are tears

A sickness came
Children it's claim
For some there is hope
There is loss

Many men lost limbs
Tears fall on empty cribs
They will start again
There is history
