Happy

These happy people
With happy dreams
Bring happy lies
And happy screams

When all we have is happy
Where will our feelings go?
Buried deep within us
Like grass in whitest snow.

There, within our memories
Bottled emotions race
All the while,
Through all the pain,
A smile stays on our face.

Why is it
That we must conform
Always being happy
Losing every form

Losing every shape
That makes us what we are
As individuals
Like each different shining star

But wait just a moment
You still have enough time
To come along with me
To my land of rhymes

Come with me, the Poet,
Who knows the only way
Let me lead you through my words
So you may never fall astray

Believe in what you will
And follow your hearts desire
Let your feelings dance and sing
Like sparks in a crackling fire

And here, I shall wait
In solitude and bliss content,
Living in my poems,
Where all my time is spent.
