Chapter 2- Toast

  "What happened to the we in 'we'll carry her'??" Tessa said, walking along slowly, the girl on her back.

  "I'm not strong enough to lift her up," Mia said calmly. "You're the Ninja here. Now stop moping, we're almost there,"

  The girl's arrived at Mia's house after five more minutes. Mia read the kitchen clock.

  "12:53, I think I'm just a bit passed curfew..." she whispered. "Oh well, let's try and wake up sleeping beauty there," Tessa set the girl down on the couch.

  "Leala... Leala!" Mia said in the loudest whisper she dared. The girl slowly opened her eyes. Mia smiled. "Hello!! Are you hungry?" she asked. The girl blinked a few times, then nodded, smiling goofily.

  "Mia... She looks kinda crazy..." Tessa said. Mia glared at her "Uh... Hey, I'm Tessa?" she said instead. "That's Mia," The girl just sat there.

  Mia went to the kitchen and came back with a peice of toast. She handed it to Leala. Leala blinked, then took a bite. Then she proceeded to eat it. Then she curled up on the couch and fell asleep.Tessa yawned.

  "Mia? I've gotta get home and into bed. See ya tomorrow at school, mm'kay?" she said. Mia waved at her as she went outside.

  "See ya," she said.
