Meh, not the best poem I've written but I like the idea.
I keep my pictures of you locked away inside my mind
Hidden so deep, in a place only I can find
I love the way you smile in these
Even the times where you mock and tease
Sometimes I hate the way you set my emotions free
Then again you’re the only person that’s made me want to be me
But all the things I can’t tell you, I’ll keep from you for now
I’ll be able to tell you someday, somehow
But as for now, all those words will be kept in locks
Hidden away in my heart-shaped box.

2009-06-04 Ash: Can we use your poem in the coming E-zine?

2009-06-05 Taylor: I'd be more than happy to let you use it :)

2009-06-06 Ash: Sweet, thank you taylor!

2009-06-08 Taylor: No problem, it's my pleasure :)

2010-12-07 Tyr Zalo Hawk: Fun times this one.
I was initially intrigued because I've heard that one song, you know, heart-shaped box, and I wanted to see how close it was to the song.
Nothing like it, but that's cool.

I think this poem, unlike most of your others, could really benefit from a standard meter. You know, like iambic pentameter, or trochaic hexameter... or whatever. I just feel like it's the kind of sentiment/poem that could use it.

Then again, I'm a verse poet, so take anything I say with a grain of salt <_<
