On barren plains that are all the remain
The ice burns as though aflame
As though in remembrance
Of all the suffering this world once saw

What once was a beautiful field of joy
A field that rang with the laughter of the innocent children
Is now a frozen graveyard of a world
A land that saw nothing but hope and promise
A land that now promises nothing but the hope of silence
Flowing streams of the purist water
Fed endless fields of the most radiant of flowers
Forests of trees so mighty that they would cradle the heavens
All gone
Dead

This paradise is lost for I have slain this world
I looked upon this world and saw a lie
Peace and love and joy
They were nothing but facsimiles to calm the weak
I could not stand the sight of this wretched place
I rose to the heavens and shattered the sun
I cast it into the sea
Which boiled and threw a dark shroud over the one time Eden
I polluted the waters with disease
I tore the stars form their place
Brought them down upon the meadows and scorched the soil
I broke the trees with my hands
Used them to build a pyre to fuel my hatred
A pyre with which to destroy
Now the lands echoed with my dark laughter
I laughed as I burned the innocent
Their screams broke the heart of this land
And I salted the earth with their ashes

And now it is done
The world is at peace at last
The true peace that is found only in death
For if there is no life there is no hope
If there is no hope then that hope can never be crushed
If hopes cannot be crushed then there is no despair
If there is no despair then there is peace now and forever more

I have blessed this world with my blood
