the people are a cold sea
I am a puffin stained in oil

                 it's still raining
                  white mist
                 it clings to my skin and stays

there would be light
that could pierce the cloud
all air would be a rainbow

there would be a fish, with sparkling scales
you could barely breathe on the ground
