I believe that my fondest memory would be that of my grandfather's death. It was a beautiful day, a thunderstorm raged outside the tiny, 2 bedroom house I lived in at the time, and flash flood warnings were in effect for miles around. Watching the hideously majestic fashion in which the torrents of rainwater sheared the bark from every tree in sight, I couldn't help but feel smaller, somehow.
Soon enough the cascasing death decided that, despite my grandfather's claims, the house wasn't good enough to be left standing. With a soothing roar the waters tore apart the hourse from every angle, ripping through the years of pent up work and adoration, shredding my grandfather's last breath with a barbed fencepost to the throat. As I watched my world being ripped away, I remember grinning with an admiration I didn't know such an ungrateful child could possess.
Ah... yes. That was the first time I had witnessed pure, untaintable chaos. Oh... and how I miss it so...
