Poetry is a picture with words, which disproves the saying that one picture is worth a thousand words. Words are worth a great deal when you can actually picture what the person is saying. When a person writes poetry they are normally intent on making a point or a view when they start.

My poetry is my personal way of expressing myself. I am able to pour my emotions into it, revealing what I feel or what I see. In a way, it represents sections of me, of my very being.

If anything, the main reason why I should win is beacuse of my poetry. I may not write for others,only myself, but a part of me will always hope that I have touched others, however brief that moment may be. No matter what I write about, where I write, or how I long it takes me, it will always be my poetry.My way of expressing true feelings, or the things I see around me. And just for the added touch of humour, as I write , it is midnight.Zzzz…

If I need to be descriptive about why I should win, I will talk about my “poetric” descriptions. There are many things we see in our big wide world every day, and there are many ways to describe them. Although words cannot give full justice and glory to the many of these wonders and terrors of the word, I hope that my words will at lest, in part, create some sense of reality and clarity or create images to someone out there
