A sizable plantation surrounds this archaic-looking house, hiding it's violet terraces and pillars amidst a sea of blue and red leaves. The fruits growing from the trees range from grapefruit sized to watermelon-sized, each in various shades of blue and green. This is the house where Mara-Kuru has been spending her long, long recovery period.

Felina, all told, has never been more nervous in her life than she is right now. Much, much rather face any sort of life and death situation. She appears a short distance behind Mara and Kaies, and is left blinking. Hey. She really did startle herself into coming.

Mara is snickering about something when Felina appears. She whirls immediately to face her double.

"Fel hi holy shit!" She stares, ears perked, dumbfounded. "Mama like," she nods.

Kaies turns his head at the fuss and... is left much the same. This is certainly different, and... he's not sure what to think about it. Damn, though.

Felina smiles a bit at her double. "Thanks, Mara...I got Yue to do my hair." It isn't really Mara's approval that she's looking for, though...and Kaies's iffy reaction has her biting her lip lightly with her fangs.

Mara smiles at both. "Ta!" And vanishes, leaving them to theirselves. Her presence would not help matters right now, anyway.

"Felina, you... look, ah..." Kaies blinks, gazing at her. This came so far out of left field that he can barely breathe for trying to figure it out. "You look fabulous, so classy... so..."

Felina smiles a bit. So...he likes it? Maybe? She hopes. Grins a little, a touch shyly, and looks down before back up. "Well...hm. Surprise." She grins, and holds out her hand.

He takes it. No hesitation, no awkward pause... nothing. Felina ought to notice, though, how his fingers lack claws right at the moment.

She's happy at the reaction, but then blinks. "Ah...missing something?"

Kaies looks down, immediately checking for pants.

"Mara... helped me remove my claws." Smiles at her. "I wanted to be able to touch you without hurting you."

Her eyes widen a little, then soften, thoroughly taken aback and sparkling a touch. "Kaies..." it's a tremendous gesture, and she knows it. He's had those things for...practically forever, and they've always been so important. Looks up at him. "You need to come down here so I can kiss you."

This part he can handle. He actually kneels in front of her, gazing into her eyes all the while. She looks so amazingly different, so good...

Felina smiles, and touches his cheek lightly with her fingertips. "Thank, love...so much..." and she leans forward, and kisses him softly.

This moment, to him, makes the pain of earlier vanish. That's the way with Felina... when she's good, she is so good that none of her flaws and neuroses matter at all. And that is how she is right now.

He wraps his arms around her... and for the first time, runs his fingertips up and down her back.

Felina shivers a little, and opens her eyes to smile at him, her forehead still pressed to his. "That feels so different, without the gloves."

He just gazes into her eyes, lost in them. Keeps doing it, though... he can't speak. Just can't do it.

She finally drops hers, but...looks back up into his eyes. Smiles a bit. "Your eyes are so blue..."

"They shine only for you, Felina..." Smiles a little, finally. "So... where are we going, all dressed up and gorgeous...?"

"Well, someone planned a birthday party for Momo behind my back, so...up for an evening at an inn other than the Wretching Dragon?" She smiles. Is sure to mention that it's at an inn, of course.

"Momo?" Kaies wraps his arms around Felina's waist, just fine where he is. "The swearing child? Of course, my love."

Felina smiles, and is also comfortable to stay put. "That's the one. I don't think it's set to start for an hour and a half or so yet...I was making myself to nervous just hanging around the Atrium Room and fussing, so I finally just came to find you before I had a chance to smart-ass myself on the matter," she laughs softly.

"An hour and a half." Kaies smiles up at her, brightly. "Shall I cook something to take there...? Or just..." trails off. Loses himself in her eyes again.

"Mm...I think Yue's probably got the food taken care of, but I'm sure it would be a nice gesture if you wanted to." Felina smiles at him, cheeks reddening at the attention. "I need to think of a gift for Momo, too."

He knows he should get up, and go do his cooking. Or something. Anything. "Felina..." strokes her back, slowly - anything but that. 

Felina smiles softly, wrapping her arms lightly around the back of his neck and just...well...staying. That's plenty.

Kaies squeezes her a little again, just... "you should never doubt your sweetness, you know," he smiles as he says, "look at you. Dressed so nicely, made up... help me, Felina... I cannot move from this spot alone!"

She grins at him. "Well...is that what you want?"

Smiles his pretty boy smile. "No. Though, we are on Mara's roof."

Felina snickers, and shoves him just the littlest bit. "That's not what I meant...but for the record, something tells me her neighbors are used to anything and everything going on up here."

Kaies goes perfectly red. "Um... I meant, I would not mind moving off of Mara's roof."

Felina laughs. Reddens further, herself, but..."at least I'm not the only one blushing for once!" And she and he head off to The Wretching Dragon.
