Species Description: Sellian's are seal-like animals that are about the size of a raccoon and are extremely intelligent from their long years of living. Sellians tend to live for all eternity until they are killed. With a wide tail for propelling and retractable webbing that goes over their claws Sellian's are very fast swimmers and are able to catch their main prey easily (medium sized shark's and eels). On top of their heads are long feathery antenna which they use to 'smell' the water because their nose only works for air. Using their ears they can listen to the wave currents and keep an ear open for the shrieks of the Vaborbats, which are the Sellian's biggest enemy.

Description: Saffron is particularly large for a Sellian and has deep blue fur with saffron colored stripes from which he was named for. His eyes are the rare color of teal seaweed and his vicious claws are also saffron. He is an extremely noble creature with a great sense of dignity and pride for his race.

Personality(s): Generous in giving aid, Saffron has a soft heart and can get very emotional at times. He likes to help but can also get very lazy and is known to lay in the sun for hours before doing anything productive. The thing is though, he doesn't like to talk, often aiding drowned soldiers then disappearing back into the water.

Weapon(s)/Power(s): Obviously his claws and teeth are his primary weapons and can also use sound waves to his advantage, though only as a last resort. He is capable of of holding his breath for a very long time and he can swim in both pure or salt water alike.

Weakness(s): He is sort of clumsy on land walking but that goes away when he wants to run and his hearing is very delicate. He doesn't like loud noises and can often get dehydrated if his is out of the water too long.
