A support page for anyone participating in Script Frenzy. If you've done or tried NaNoWriMo before, you might enjoy Script Frenzy! Check out www.scriptfrenzy.org for the details.

Basically, during the month of April (starting at 12:00:01 AM on April 1st and ending at midnight on April 30th), authors all over the world attempt to write a 100-page script. Here on Script Frenzy Support, we will have a write-in, provide you with any tips/hints we have, share daily logs, list the basics of formatting/writing a script, and eventually host a write-out. Stay tuned for updates. :)

Your Rewards

For your hard efforts you get prettiful badges for your house! They're already finished and ready for you, but I'm not going to let you see until Script Frenzy is over (last day of April). There are two badges: winner and participant. If you successfully complete Script Frenzy according to the Script Frenzy guidelines, you get the winner badge. If you try but don't get that far, you get a participant badge. :) Oh and...the banner I threw together for this page is not indicative of the attractiveness of the badges. ;)

95-100 pages = Winner badge
1-94 pages = Participant badge
0 pages = Nothing :( Sorry, you have to at least start!

2011-03-29 [Ash]: This is going to be a lot easier than NaNo!

2011-03-30 [Annie]: I agree! :D Haha. Suggestions for a good write-in time are welcome.

2011-03-30 [Ash]: No clue, I might not be able to make it. I'm starting two classes on the 31st, so I'll only be able to squeeze in the 100 pages.

2011-03-30 [Akayume]: I can't write scripts, sadly. :( I'm just not good at it.

2011-04-01 [Ash]: It's my first real script, I'm going to write it in two days, it's going to be called 'Mama Mayhem' and be about a post zombie apocalyptic world.

2011-04-01 [Ash]: Yep. I have to start writing it now otherwise I won't have time between work and school.

2011-04-03 [Annie]: You could just write one page Akayume, and then you'd get a participant badge. ;P Maybe if you wrote one page, you'd like it enough to write the next...and the next..until before you know it you're writing a script! :)

I may be able to get up there in page count if I can finish my work early this week.

2011-04-11 [Annie]: Due to lack of participation this year, I won't be posting inspirational quotes...even though I had some really good ones!! Look forward to increased participation next year. :) But of course, if you finish you still get a winner badge, and participants still get a participant badge!

2011-05-01 [Annie]: Well it's over and as promised, the badges are now up! I put both the winner and participant badge up although I'm suspecting that nobody finished this year. I know I didn't finish before my life spontaneously combusted. Hope to see everyone next year with more participation!
