The Last Battel
owners note: If you see a mistake, change it and tell the person that you did.
The world has gone to complete and utterly chaotic and no one knows how to spin the world back into balance. Evil and good are fighting to keep the world a different way.
There are few true races left, and those few who are still pure blood went into hiding.

The young half elf looked across the bar at a shadowy figure in the corner wandering who this stranger is. She looked back at the barwench who was talking to her.
" I will just have the usal today. Who is the new stranger today, Barnet? He hasn't been in this town before." The young teen said pointing her head in the shadowy figure's direction.
The barwench just shrugged and went back to the kitchen.

The shadowy figure in the corner was a human by the name of Fiend. His tall muscular figure never went unnoticed for long. His tattoos glowed a violent red, they spanned all over his body and face. He was a warrior for the dark forces and believed that this world should be allowed to plunge in a heinous path.
He cut a glance in the half elf's direction, he hated when people talked about him, but he would let this one go. He chugged back the rest of his ale and got up. Swift and silent he appeared just out of her range of sight behind her and whispered "Hell is to come." Then disappeared before she could see who he was.

A female night elf sat in a candle-lit corner, talking to a dwarf and drow about politics between the three races. She noticed the man comming in. A human from his spell, and bright red marks against his skin as white marks were against her own blue skin. Her, though, she dulled down to a soft glow, and she could make disappear if she wanted.
She watched in very small interest as the man creeped up behind a woman who had asked his name. She sighed and excused herself, and walked over to the woman, taking a seat.
"Fiend. A human. Powerful, but still mortal by his own measure," she stated simply, leaning her head in her hand, looking at the woman amethyst eyes.
[

Fearathressa looked at the woman still trying to figure out what spell he used. As she looked the woman over she showed her bright icy blue eyes and her pale completion.
"How is it that you know this, Fiend sister?" She asked in the unusal way of starting a conversation with another elf.

Fiend stood outside of the tavern, a flame sprouted from his fingertip, he lit the tobacco wrapped in parchment paper that he had in his pocket listening to the chatter inside. He thought to himself,
Hm, mortal... but not for long.
He took a large puff into his mouth, his eyes that were glowing a bright yellow now returned to their normal green, he took in the puff he was holding in his mouth and blew it out. Fiend got off the side of the tavern walking out of the town, the three of them would meet again most likely on the battle field.
He smoked as he walked flicking the still smoldering parchment paper onto a roof. He smiled as he snapped and watched as a giant fire erupted from it which he controlled to spread to other buildings and into the forest surrounding it. He began to laugh as he walked, there was a man riding a black horse in black armor with his symbol on it. Fiend put his fingertips in his mouth and blew out a whistle. The man on the horse heard him and charged by him, Fiend reached up and grabbed the letter. He looked down at the glowing symbol and opened it,
I've been watching you, Fiend. Good job. One of the keys to your immortality is the blood of a night elf. Acquire that and you may return.
Inside of the letter was a vial. Fiend smiled but he hid behind a tree, one of the resident night elves was coming his way. It was not one of the ones he saw in the tavern so he didn't think twice before knocking him out and dragging him off into the burning forest. He pulled out his knife and slit the night elf's throat picking him up off the ground and letting his blood drain into the vial. He put the cork in and disappeared to his master.

Callisto, as her name happened to be, quickly rushed to the door of the tavern, throwing up a shield spell, blocking the flames from reaching the tavern and anything else in it's vacinity.
"There goes this poor town... That demon." She muttered an elvish curse under her breath, making her way back to the woman.
"My apologies. Fiend set the town to blazes... I wonder if any are left alive after such a thing. But he's been getting a reputation for helping dark demons gain power. To better his own power, most likely. Humans are like that."
She sipped water mixed with Spryte wine, which for her was mostly water, thinking. "I wonder why he does such things... It is a pity to see tht he doesn't care for the precious lives around him. One of them may even be able to satisfy him."

Fearathress cringed, she felt the night elf who lay dying in the woods. Who would be dead in a matter of minutes. "I'narr en gothrim glinuva nuin I'anor" (The bones of our foes will gleam under the sun). She said in elvish for the dying elf.
"Do you feel the death of an elf?" Fearathress asked the elf sitting next to her.

Fiend returned to the temple going into the dark rulers room and getting down on one knee. "Master, I have completed my objectives."
Good, there are only two more things that you need. You need to acquire the sands of time from the desert of life, it glows purple. The sap from the tree of time itself. I will acquire the herbs I need for your prosperity healing, so you may never die.
Fiend nods, "I understand master, I thank you."
Wrath nodded, "Now go my son, go and become an immortal as I am."
Fiend gets to his feet putting an arm from the bottom of his chest to his neck balling up his fist and bowing his head. He disappears to the desert of life.

She shook her head, smiling slightly. "No, I am not an empath. And thank goodness too."
She shuddered violently, clenching her fists on the table top. "But I
can feel people opening different dimensions... I wouldn't want to rush ahead and say it was our new friend though."
She shook her head, drinking again from her Spryte wine. "Jhori air poroler."
(Life is difficult.)
[
United Savage Abominations]
Fiend found himself in a large desert, he looked around seeing the purple glowing sand everywhere. "That wasn't too difficult." He picked a handful up and put it in a brown leather sack.
He continued walking through the desert in search of the tree of time. He kept walking forward then he stopped, he put his fingers together and whistled a tune. A large bird twice his size landed next to him. The feathers were black, its beak red, and its talons a dark blue.
He gets on the back of the bird right before it takes off in search of the tree of time.
[

Fearathress shook her head. "I think it is time we catch up to this person who is opening other dimensions. My name is Fearathress, by the way."
Fearathress held out her hand in a friendly manner.
I will have to report this immeaditly to the council. She though to herself.
[
United Savage Abominations]
He cut the bird to the left, and flew a couple of more miles. A large tree was in the horizon that stretched into the purple sky. He put his heels into the birds sides making it speed up. The bird let out a cry of pain as it flew triple of what it was. The sand became more of a deeper purple all the way up to the tree which was almost black.
"This must be it." He landed the bird by the tree walking up to it. He put his hand on the bark, it was very smooth. He took out his knife and sliced some bark off. He could hear the tree scream. He pulled out the second vial and put it to the tree letting the sap come out and fill it.
Putting his hands together disappeared back to the temple.
[
Jabbress]
Fearathress let out a scream just as the tree did. "He killed.." Was all she could do for she was dobled over in pain.

United Savage Abominations]
Fiend returned to his master's room with the sap and the sand. He got back down on one knee, "Master I have returned with the items you requested."
Wrath looked down at him, "Good, hand them to me. I will give you the herbs for your prosperity healing." Fiend got to his feet and walked up to Wrath exchanging ingredients. Wrath turned around mixing the three together while Fiend ate.
Wrath smiled, "The sap from the tree of time holds entire generations of families, and by the look of what you got... it looks like you got a night elf's. There is only one way you can die now, and that's if you die willingly by your own hand." Wrath turned around handing Fiend a partially filled vial and held a vial with the same amount in his hand, "By drinking this, you are one with the tree of time, one eternal as it is. If they were ever to destroy the tree of time, they would destroy time itself. Let us drink in our eternal glory."
They tipped the vials back drinking every drop, Fiend got extremely light headed and his vision went blurry. Wrath smiled, "Go look at yourself in the pools." Fiend went outside, his skin was jet black, the same with his eyes, his tattoos shown brighter than any he had ever seen.

That, Callisto felt, as she was sure and sensative being would. She clutched at her chest where the pain seared. Catching the other in her arms, she held her upright next to her. "Will you be alright, Miss Fearathress? You still with me?"
[
Jabbress]
She stood up glaring at thoes who stared at them and nodded. "Yes,.. I think so. Can we leave this place and talk else where?" She asked knowing what she was about to reveal could winde her up in a dark alley dead.
[
United Savage Abominations]
Fiend came back inside to see that Wrath has his son with a dagger to his throat, "Now, Fiend, prove your eternal loyalty to me. I'm going to kill your son." Fiend looked at him with an expression of anger.
"Let him go Wrath, we are both immortals now remember?" Wrath shook his head, "Wrong choice of words Fiend." The little boy looked scared at his dad, "DADDY!" Wrath slit his throat. Fiend got to his feet, his tattoos blindingly bright as he appears in front of Wrath punching him in his jaw. Wrath takes the knife and plunges it into Fiend's stomach. "Uhhgh." Wrath laughs, "Now you see, Fiend, there is never any way for you to defeat me."
Fiend rips open a portal to god knows where and pushes himself through. He lands on the tavern table in front of Fearathress and Callisto. The knife still in his stomach, he was bleeding heavily, almost dead. "That...bastar
d... I killed... innocent... for nothing..." Fiend coughed, "An innocent...night... elf... an en..." He takes a breathes in deep, "entire... generation... killed... with my... son..." He looked over at them putting a hand out, "please...forgive me..." His hand dropped as he passed out from blood loss.
[Aureus Moonrise]
Callisto looked at the pathetic sight of him regretting what he'd done only when he was facing death. If he could die, now, anyway. She sensed his aura was changed. Had he been the one to stab the Sacred Tree of Time? Fury bubbled inside her veins, her spells glowing brighter. She wanted to strike him. But she couldn't now. She would be hurting the Tree Itself by doing so. She bit her lip till it bled her silver blood.
'This is probably going to be betrayal to Miss Fearathress, but there really is nothing else to do,' she thought to herself. But she did have a certain weak point for the helpless, no matter what they may have done in the past.
'If he kills me when he recovers, I won't leave this world for the next till he feels his soul writhing in regret.'
She took the knife out and quickly worked on healing his wound, calling on the moon and the night's stars for their assistance. She finished up, bandaging his stomach around his clothes. He would be weak for a couple days, but everything was healed.
She glared at him, wondering how he could have had a son. She felt sorry for the mother and child. Gently as she could, she lifted the big man and carried him to her own room at the inn and dropped him in her bed. She collected all that she had, in case he tried to steal some, and went back downstairs to Miss Fearathress. She couldn't imagine the other woman would like what she'd done...
[United Savage Abominations]
Fiend woke up in a bed, he looked down at his stomach unbandaging it. He looks around balling his fist up, "THAT FUCKING BASTARD!" Fiend sits up shaking his head, "He was the only thing I had left in this world..." He throws the covers off of himself and remakes the bed once he's up, normal force of habbit.
He walks back downstairs looking around at the people glaring at him, "If anyone wants me dead, speak now." He waited for someone to step up then left out the door.
Outside he grabbed a shovel and walked to the woods where he had killed the elf and began to dig a grave for him.
[Jabbress]
Fearathress truly wasn't happy about what had just taken place, but it was already done and there was nothing she could to about it. What in the heaves is going on with this world. I need to get back to the council quickly and reaport.
Standing up she shook her head, "I think I will go follow Fiend. If he is going to burry one of our bretheren then I must help."
With that she turned and left following Fiend. "Wait up!"
[United Savage Abominations]
Fiend didn't hear her, he was already in the woods. He leaned down putting a hand on the night elf's chest, "He will pay for this... That is the only way I can pay my condolences to you... After he is dead... then I'll come back and ask for forgiveness." Before Fearathress made it to him he had already began to dig.
I will kill him... I must... not only for this one I killed on his order... but so no one has to kill an innocent again... He looks up to the sky. My son... I'm sorry I couldn't protect you... I'm sorry I was a bad father... if you see your mother up there... tell her I said I'm sorry I wasn't by her side when she died giving birth to you... He snapped back to what he was doing, taking a couple more shovels full of dirt and tossing them to the side.
He heard someone coming up, his warrior instincts kicked in. He held the shovel like a staff and turned around. He dropped his guard seeing it was only Fearathress. He turned back around going back to digging, "I'm sorry, that was natural instinct."
[Aureus Moonrise]
Callisto stashed her belongings someplace she considered safe, then dashed after Fearathress, hoping she didn't miss anything between the two. She caught up to them where they joined at the other's grave. She smelt the raw death. This must have been what brought Miss Fearathress's question on earlier that evening.
She took a step foward toward the man. "May I assist you?"
[United Savage Abominations]
Fiend turned his black eyes towards her and shook his head, "I was the one to kill him... I should be the one to bury him... Please don't over-strain yourself." He looked back down taking more and more shovels out. "And besides... The grave is ready..." He looked down at the six foot hole he dug.
Fiend reached over and lifted the body up jumping down into the hole, laying the man down with his hands on his chest and jumped back out. "I'll never get your kind," He reached down grabbing the shovel and filling the hole up, "You could have just as easilly asked me to kill myself, seeing as that's the only way i can die, and I would have done it for atonement." Fiend stopped talking to he could fill the hole up.
[Jabbress]
Fearathress took a weary step to the now grave. Placing a hand on Fiend she smiled. "Watch this." She said in a thick elven accent.
Muttering a spell and making some sign movemnts aswell, the dirt ontop of the body turned to an unbreakable glass. Lying at the bottem incased is a more beautiful nightelf, in clean clothes, and the blood was gone.
"That is how we burry our dead. Besides he is a victim of this war. By such everyone should see him as he was. Not it." She said very softly to Fiend.
[United Savage Abominations]
Fiend a hand placed softly on his shoulder. This was the first time he was touched since his wife died. He placed a hand over hers by instinct, "Why did you two or no one else in the tavern speak up when I asked who wanted me dead?..."
He looked over at his shoulder taking his hand off hers, "I'm sorry... That was the first time anyone placed a caring hand on me since my wife died giving birth to my son..."
[Aureus Moonrise]
Callisto stood erect, admiring the beautiful burial. "It is because you were sorry that I did not say anything. I try to believe that people learn. Everyone else there was too stunned or too scared. But, me personally, I rejoice for the dead. I believe that if they were good, they would be happier. What was your wife like?"
She looked over at him, not judgingly, but openly curious of him.
[United Savage Abominations]
Fiend shook his head, "She was beautiful. She always had a smile on her face, her brown hair was always hanging around her shoulder blades, her eyes were aways sparkling with pure happiness... I came to one of your hospitals when she was having our son... your doctor didn't come in time... she was dead so i had to do the c-section by myself..."
[Aureus Moonrise]
She wrinkled her nose a little. "How wicked of our doctors... She sounds like she is enjoying paradise now, and I'm sure she's watching over you. Why not try to be happy for her instead of sulking around in remorse?"
[United Savage Abominations]
He looked up to the sky, "I hope my son is with her too... I will kill him..." Fiend smiles and looks down at Callisto, "Would your side be interested in where your enemy's strong hold is? I doubt you've found it, it's a blue building. The top is only 25 feet below the top of the water." He shook his head, "Although if we ever get the chance to raid it... I call kill on Wrath... their 'god'... He was the one that killed my son."
Fiend shook and hung his head, tears began to well up in his eyes. He clenched his fists and hit a tree that was to his right, moving nothing but his arm. He pulls his fist back. Leaving a scar in the tree that gouged it to the center. "That bastard..."
