What is 'HDP'?

Warning: Please do not read further if you feel you are incapable of keeping a mature attitude and a straight mind. This is to help writers and nothing more.

'HDP' stands for 'Hardcore Porn'. I didn't want to make a wiki strictly called 'Hardcore Porn' because people would get the wrong idea. And 'HCP' looked too funny to me.

What does HDP consist of?

Most people would describe HDP as being very tasteless and only used for the pleasuring of their audience, in a more 'naughty' way. In other words, it is basically the same thing as TV porn, only with words. Generally it IS tasteless, but I have used eroticism in the past to release sexual frustration. No one will be biased here for writing HDP.

I'm gonna have to use some nasty words below, so be wary. I did wash my mouth out after this, of course.

HDP generally has:

- Adult language ('pussy', 'dick', the F-bomb, etc.). Usually rated XXX stuff.

- Adult content, extreme (describing anal or sex without the use of the vagina, describing using toys for sexual pleasure, or describing scenes of 'improvise' (such as sex while sitting on a washing machine while it's on)).

- Characters of a very naughty nature. Usually these characters 'beg' for sex -- sort of an S&M (slave and master), theme. I will say, though, that this can be done tastfully.

And that's all I can really think of.

How would I make my eroticism 'tasteful'?

Since everyone has different writing skills, they are gonna take 'tasteful' and 'tasteless' to different extremes. I would love comments below describing what people find as 'tasteless' and 'tasteful' in eroticism... to be more broad, really. To me, this is what I find to make writings 'tasteful'.

- Anything listed above is generally depleted and not even used in your writing. Sex positions don't need to determine whether or not a piece is tasteful or not.

- Using 'larger' words (such as phallus (that one always makes me giggle)), and referring to the vagina as something like the 'womanly gem'.

- Generally describing body movement and body language over than how one's 'package' is trimmed or what the body LOOKS like.

- Not going in-depth about the person's feeling -- the story of HDP is usually done with someone looking out to other people having sex and pleasuring themselves. I have observed that more 'tasteful' writings are generally from the point of view of either of the main characters getting ready to commit the act of Lusty Love.

- Word choice. Word choice is probably the biggest main factor, all aside. Should the word choice be decent, then the story can be considered 'tasteful'.

An example of 'tasteful' eroticism is 252.Explicit Erotica. He Wore a Mask and 252.Explicit Erotica.Venus Girl. Feel free to view and comment as you like.

I will try and post some examples of what I consider is 'tasteless' eroticism (written by myself, of course).

I mean no offense to anyone, but this is the set of guidelines that I have always had and used. Feel free to add things if you want to:

What makes a story 'tasteful':

1.
2.
3.
4.

What makes a story 'tasteless':

1.
2.
3.
4.
