 For the past few months I've been writing poetry off and on as well as periodically adding new elements to the novel I am working on. On all technical levels, this novel - with no title at the moment - is not even in a first draft phase, though I will be adding excerpts as more is written. They will aslo be added to http://foolishsage.deviantart.com , which I update somewhat more often than I update my (rarely used) blog, http://carminisplacidus.blogspot.com .

 I have a thing for fantasy/sci fi and I also enjoy classic childrens literature, but I cannot tolerate poorly written stories. Nor can I stand for anything cliche, predictable, unnecessarily wordy, etc.

 I am a snob and I am well aware of the fact, so you need not point this out to me.
