I know this is a writing community, but what do you think of an illustration contest? That is connected to literature to a degree. (It would have to be run by someone more artistic than me.)

It's a cool idea, but wouild it be easier done on ET, where there are more straight artists?

  Hmm... probably.

Although keep in mind that some members arent members of ET, and so you could provide for them here if they are interested too. It's really up to what you want to do.

In the future people could be saying oh don't put an RP up on WC because you could put it up on the RP community.

  Noone has said not to put writing contests on Elftown (which is for general creativity anyways) any more just because we now have Writersco.

Yea that might be the best, heh if more people would have wanted a context themed like that I'm sure there would have been more people asking.

  Far into the future I might suggest a public poll on how many people like to draw.
